Casual Banquet Employees. Casual banquet employees shall be deemed to have been hired for each function worked and terminated at the end thereof such that such persons shall only be employed subject to the provisions of Article 27.02 and no other term or condition of this agreement except as provided under the Employment Standards Act. Casual banquet employees working under this arrangement will have deducted from their pay an amount of $3.00 per shift and forwarded to the Union as dues. It is understood that casual employees will be sent home before non-casual employees.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked.
