Agency Seniority. ‌ Agency seniority is defined as total length of continuous Agency service. Agency is intended to include continuous service in the Oregon juvenile justice system under predecessor agencies. An employee’s seniority shall be computed from the date of the employee’s employment by the Agency in any capacity, except temporary appointment. Seniority shall be forfeited if an employee has a break in service by separation or termination from the Agency of more than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days, other than layoff, or fails to respond within five (5) consecutive work days after receiving notice by registered letter mailed to the last address on the Agency’s records, unless prevented from responding by conditions beyond the employee’s control. Seniority lists shall be prepared by the Agency, during January, updated periodically, and posted on bulletin boards.
Agency Seniority. Defined as the continuous length of service as a full-time permanent employee in the Child Support Enforcement Agency payroll based on the last date of hire into the Agency. Between January 1st and January 31st of each calendar year, employees may request leave for the remainder of the year. Leave requested during this period will be granted based on agency seniority and according to the operational needs of the Agency. After February 1st of each calendar year if two (2) or more employees submit a leave request on the same day requesting the same day off, and according to the operational needs of the agency, requests shall be granted based on agency seniority.
Agency Seniority. Agency Seniority is the length of an employee’s continuous service with the Agency. After completion of an employee’s probationary period, Agency seniority shall accrue from date of hire. Part-time employees of the Agency shall accrue seniority on a pro-rated basis on a percentage of full-time equivalence (percent FTE). Employees shall not accrue Agency seniority on any unpaid leave as defined in Article 13 of this Agreement.

  • Seniority Lists A copy of the seniority list will be posted by January 31st and July 31st of each calendar year on designated bulletin boards with a copy forwarded to the bargaining unit president. Included in the list shall be a breakdown of total hours paid for part-time employees. All lists will include date of hire. Any errors noted in the seniority list should be noted and the employer notified within thirty (30) days, after which the list shall be considered final.
