Holiday Falling on a Scheduled. Workday A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. Except where there is a local agreement to the contrary, the statutory holiday night shift will be the shift where the majority of the hours of the shift occur on the statutory holiday.

Holiday Falling on a Scheduled. Workday A regular employee who is required to work on a designated holiday shall be compensated as outlined in Clause 17.8 (Overtime on a Statutory Holiday).

However, where an employee works Christmas Day or New Year's Day, the rate will be double-time for hours worked on these days, plus a day off in lieu if the majority of the employee's shift was worked on the Christmas or New Year's Day holiday.
