Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual. A faculty member returning in a post-retirement position, will begin the position with zero leave accruals (sick and/or vacation). The faculty member will accrue as follows:

Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual. An employee on temporary military leave under the conditions described in item #1 Active Military Training or Exercises, in the section entitled "Salary/ Compensation" above, shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick leave, and holiday privileges to which he/she would otherwise be entitled if not absent. An employee on military leave who is serving in active duty in time of war, national emergency, or United Nations military or police operation shall not accrue sick leave or vacation leave during the period of such leave. However, an employee who is a National Guard member on active duty as described in item #3 War or Other Emergency, in the section entitled "Salary/ Compensation" above, shall not suffer any loss or diminution of vacation or holiday privileges because of his/her leave of absence.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Vacation Accrual Regular employees shall accrue hours of vacation with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per biweekly work period according to the following schedule, commencing with the employee's hire date of his latest period of County employment.
