Student Health Insurance. University will encourage each Student participating in the Clinical Program to acquire comprehensive health and accident insurance that will provide continuous coverage of the Student during his or her participation in the Clinical Program. University will inform Students that they are responsible for their own health needs, health care costs, and health insurance coverage.
Student Health Insurance. Full-time undergraduate Students at Seattle University are required to have health insurance but may waive the Student health plan if they have health insurance with comparable coverage. If not waived by the deadline, the Student will be automatically enrolled in the Aetna Student Health plan and billed the insurance premium. Students must actively waive the health insurance every academic year. Waivers from previous years do not roll over.
Student Health Insurance. 1) Students attending UAlbany shall be required to enroll in the mandatory health insurance program of the State University of New York at their expense. Students will have access to all student health services, including, but not limited to, the Student Health Services Center and the Counseling Center.

In the event that a Student fails to obtain or maintain health insurance, under no circumstances shall Mercy be responsible to cover any individual medical expenses arising out of the Student’s participation in the Educational Program or the Clinical Experience.

The online health insurance enrollment/waiver process will need to be completed to either enroll or decline this coverage. I understand if I do not respond by the deadline, I will automatically be enrolled in this plan and charged the annual premium. Students not on campus during the fall semester, but returning for spring must also comply and will be charged a prorated amount. Returning student insurance information will be sent home in December. Coverage under the student health insurance plan is not refundable and continues for the length of the plan.

Institution shall ensure that each student participating in the Program has health insurance to cover emergency health care for illnesses or injuries resulting from the student’s field experience in the Program. The student remains responsible for providing payment or adequate health insurance coverage for such emergency care and any subsequent care.

Refunds Standard Charges ‐ Tuition, Residential Comprehensive Fee, Student Activity Fee, Matriculation Fee and Green Fund Fee – Failure to attend does not constitute a withdrawal. Credit for withdrawals is applied to the student account in accordance with the refund policy listed on the Student Accounts website. To obtain a refund the student must officially withdraw from Wesleyan. The Student Activity Fee and Matriculation Fee are not refundable once classes have begun.

Inform the student that it is the responsibility of the student to obtain adequate health insurance for the student, and to provide evidence of such insurance to Facility at least two weeks before the student is to report to Facility for the beginning of his/her clinical educational experience.

Student Health Insurance. University policy requires that all students have medical insurance while participating in study abroad. Students studying abroad for fall semester will not be enrolled automatically in the Wesleyan-sponsored insurance plan, but will be provided required health insurance through Wesleyan or through their program provider. This coverage may not be waived, even if the student is covered under another health insurance policy. Students not on campus during the fall semester, but returning for spring must complete the online health insurance enrollment/waiver process to either enroll or decline coverage under the Wesleyan-sponsored insurance plan and will be charged a prorated amount. Returning student insurance information will be sent home in December.
