Scheduling Standby. (a) i) Standby/On call will be utilized in those units presently using such measures. The Union will be notified of any units that are commencing standby/on call.
Scheduling Standby a) The Supervisor shall be responsible for scheduling standby duties as equitably as possible having regard for safety and experience.

Scheduling Standby. The Hospital agrees that stand-by will be distributed on an equitable basis among the qualified nurses who normally perform the work. A nurse who is called in shall be paid in accordance with Article and in addition, shall receive relief and lunch breaks in accordance with Article and of the Full-Time Collective Agreement.

The Hospital shall endeavour to equally distribute booked hours and shifts for regular part-time nurses at the time the original time sheet i s prepared. Where a part-time nurse has been scheduled to work on a holiday weekend, other than night shift she shall be scheduled to work on the holiday as well, providing the shift is available to a part-time nurse.

Employees may exchange or give away standby duty with the mutual consent of the employees involved and the approval of the Manager.
