RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE BUILDING. No sign, placard, picture, advertisement, name or notice shall be inscribed, displayed or printed or affixed on or to any part of the outside of the Premises or any exterior windows of the Premises without the written consent of Landlord first had and obtained and Landlord shall have the right to remove any such sign, placard, picture, advertisement, name or notice without notice to and at the expense of Tenant. All approved signs or lettering on outside doors shall be printed, painted, affixed or inscribed at the expense of Tenant by a person approved of by Landlord. Tenant shall not place anything or allow anything to be placed near the glass of any window, door partition or wall which may appear unsightly from outside the Premises. Tenant shall not occupy or permit any portion of the Premises to be occupied for the manufacture or sale of liquor, narcotics or tobacco in any form. The bulletin board or directory of the Premises will be provided for the display of the number and location of Tenant, and Landlord will provide directory service to a reasonable extent for Tenant at initial occupancy. Changes thereafter shall be at Tenant’s expense. The sidewalks, passages, exits, entrances, elevators and stairways shall not be obstructed by Tenant or used by it for any purpose other than ingress to and egress from its Premises. The passages, exists, entrances, stairways, balconies and roof are not for the use of the general public and Landlord shall in all cases retain the right to control and prevent access thereto by all persons whose presence in the judgement of Landlord shall be prejudicial to the safety, character, reputation and interests of the Premises and its tenants, provided that nothing herein contained shall be construed to prevent such access to persons with whom Tenant normally deals in the ordinary course of Tenant’s business unless such persons are engaged in illegal activities. Tenant, employees or invitees of Tenant shall not go upon the roof of the Premises. The toilet rooms, urinals, wash bowls and other apparatus shall not be used for any purpose other than that for which they were constructed and no foreign substance of any kind whatsoever shall be thrown therein and the expense of any breakage, stoppage or damage resulting from the violation of this rule shall be borne by tenant who, or whose employees or invitees shall have caused it. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE BUILDING. (a) The sidewalks, entrances, passages, courts, elevators, vestibules, stairways, corridors or halls or other parts of the Building not occupied by any tenant shall not be obstructed or encumbered by any tenant or used for any purpose other than ingress or egress to and from the demised premises. LANDLORD shall have the right to control and operate the public portions of the Building, and the facilities furnished for the common use of the tenants, in such manner as LANDLORD deems best for the benefit of the tenants generally. No tenant shall permit the visit to the demised premises of persons in such numbers or under such conditions as to interfere with the use and enjoyment by other tenants of the entrances, corridors, elevators and other public portions or facilities of the Building.

  • Common Areas - Rules and Regulations Lessor or such other person(s) as Lessor may appoint shall have the exclusive control and management of the Common Areas and shall have the right, from time to time, to establish, modify, amend and enforce reasonable rules and regulations (“Rules and Regulations”) for the management, safety, care, and cleanliness of the grounds, the parking and unloading of vehicles and the preservation of good order, as well as for the convenience of other occupants or tenants of the Building and the Project and their invitees. Lessee agrees to abide by and conform to all such Rules and Regulations, and to cause its employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees to so abide and conform. Lessor shall not be responsible to Lessee for the non-compliance with said Rules and Regulations by other tenants of the Project.

  • BUILDING RULES AND REGULATIONS The following rules and regulations shall apply, where applicable, to the Premises, the Building, the parking facilities (if any), the Property and the appurtenances. In the event of a conflict between the following rules and regulations and the remainder of the terms of the Lease, the remainder of the terms of the Lease shall control.
