Service Animals means any animal that is of service to a person with a disability.

Service Animals means any dog(s) that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an “Insured” with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual or other mental disability. The work or tasks performed by a “service animal” must be directly related to the “Insured’s” disability.

• You are responsible for the care of your fish, Service Animal(s) and/or Emotional Support Animal(s).

Service Animals means a service animal accompanying a person with a disability where it is readily apparent that the animal is used by the person for reasons relating to his or her disability, or if the person provides a letter from a physician or nurse confirming that the person requires the animal for reasons relating to the disability.

Goshen College is committed to allowing individuals with disabilities the use of a Service Animal on campus to facilitate their full participation and equal access to the College’s programs and activities. Goshen College is also committed to allowing Emotional Support Animals necessary to provide individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to use and enjoy college housing. This Policy explains the specific requirements applicable to a student’s use of an Emotional Support Animal in College housing. Goshen College reserves the right to amend this Policy as circumstances require. This policy applies solely to “Emotional Support Animals” which may be necessary in college housing. It does not apply to “service animals” as defined by the ADAAA. Although it is the policy of Goshen College that students are generally prohibited from having animals of any type other than fish in college housing, Goshen College will consider a request by an individual with a disability for reasonable accommodation from this prohibition to allow an Emotional Support Animal that is necessary because of a disability, and reasonable. However, no Emotional Support Animal may be kept in college housing at any time prior to the individual receiving approval as a reasonable accommodation pursuant to this Policy.

Service Animals means any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

Service Animals. - shall mean any animal that is of service to a person with a disability “Support Person” shall mean any person whether a paid professional, volunteer, family member, friend who accompanies a person with a disability in order to help with communications, personal care or medical needs or with access to goods or services.

Service Animals. Service Animals" shall mean any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, personal care attendant, or companion, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals with impaired hearing, providing minimal protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, or fetching dropped items.
