Non-Employee Status. I know that I am not an employee of OCDEL or the CCIS. Because I am not an employee of OCDEL or the CCIS, I am not entitled to any employee-related benefits such as Worker’s Compensation, health care or Unemployment Compensation through OCDEL or the CCIS. I know that I am only a participant in the Subsidized Child Care Program. I am a self-employed child care provider and I assume full responsibility for reporting my earnings to Federal, State and Local Tax authorities.

Non-Employee Status. 7.1 CONTRACTOR acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement is not a contract for or guarantee of continued consultancy and that the terms and conditions of CONTRACTOR’s consultancy are governed by the partiesconsultancy agreement. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to afford CONTRACTOR any of the rights, duties, or obligations of an employee of COMPANY. Under no circumstances shall CONTRACTOR look to PMI, or any of PMI principals, partners, clients, associates, supervisors, employees, directors, shareholders, agents or assigns as CONTRACTOR’s employer, or as a partner, agent, or principal.
Non-Employee Status. (a) Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to constitute the DEVELOPER or any of its agents, employees or officers as an agent, employee or officer of COUNTY.

Non-Employee Status. The parties intend that an independent contract relationship be created by this Agreement. The Companies are interested only in the results to be achieved, and the conduct and control of the services to be performed will lie solely with Xx. Xxxxx. Neither Xx. Xxxxx nor his agents or employees are to be considered agents or employees of the Companies for any purpose. It is further understood that the Companies do not agree to use Xx. Xxxxx’x services exclusively and that Xx. Xxxxx is free to provide like services to other companies, subject to confidentiality provisions contained in the Confidentiality Agreement referred to above.

Except as otherwise required by law, Company will not withhold any taxes from the compensation paid to Consultant under this Agreement. Consultant will be solely responsible for the payment of all taxes (including, but not by way of limitation, federal and state income taxes and Social Security taxes) imposed upon such compensation and for fulfilling all other legal obligations associated with rendering services as a self-employed independent contractor.
