MPI Holiday. The MPI Holiday shall be 3 days as prescribed by the Director General each year, not being a Public Holiday, Saturday or a Sunday. These days will usually be immediately after Boxing Day. Where one, two or three of these days cannot be taken because you are required to work or are on call you will be paid those days as a normal working day. The employee's next one, two or three leave days (they need not be consecutive if there is more than one) will be taken as their MPI Days. These days must be used before the next year's MPI days fall due, and will not be a Public Holiday, Saturday or Sunday. If MPI calls you in to work on any days that you have requested and had approved as MPI Day(s), MPI will pay you an additional T1 .0 for all hours worked on that day(s) and you will be able to re-take that MPI day(s) as part of your next leave period. In the case of a part-time employee Public and MPI holidays will be granted only where the day concerned is a day normally worked by that employee.

MPI Holiday. Rostered employees working ordinary hours on a MPI Holiday are eligible for 1 day off in lieu (or proportionate part to a maximum of one day). The day in lieu, when taken, does not attract any penal payments. When working overtime: • Non rostered employees receive overtime payments only after working in excess of eight hours. A day off in lieu of the ordinary hours worked before overtime payments commence, shall be granted; • Rostered employees required to work on their day off (i.e. as overtime) shall receive overtime rates for all hours worked and a day off (or proportionate part) in lieu.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Holiday 6.1 The Executive shall be entitled during the Employment to 30 working days holiday in each calendar year plus bank holidays. Holiday may only be taken at such time or times as the Chief Executive Officer shall approve. The Executive’s holiday entitlement shall be pro rated for the year in which the Employment begins and for the year in which the Employment ends.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
