Modified Work (Full time and Part-time The Hospitalwill notify the President of each Local Union of the names of all Nurses who go off work due to a work related injury or when a Nurse goes on When it has been medically determined that an Employee is unable to return to the full duties of position due to a disability, the Hospital will notify and meet with a Staff Representativeof the Ontario Nurses' Association and a member of the Local Executive, and will endeavour to do so prior to the Employee returning to work to discuss the circumstances surrounding the Employee's return to suitable work. The Hospital will provide to the Union a monthly list of all Employees on modified work programs in the previous month. The Hospital agrees to provide the Employee with a copy of the Workplace Safety Insurance Board Form at the same time as it is sent to the Board. The seniority list of Nurses covered by this Agreement shall be posted by the Hospital on January and August 1st respectively. Separate lists for full- time, part-time and casual Nurses will be posted with four (4) copies forwarded to each Local Union.

  • Modified Work In order to facilitate a safe return to work, in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the collective agreement and other applicable legislation, the parties will endeavour to provide fair and consistent practices to accommodate employees who are ill, injured or permanently disabled. (The following clause related to modified work agreements will be incorporated into all collective agreements)

  • Modified Work Week Where Employees in a unit have indicated a desire to work a modified work week, the Employer may authorize experiments with modified work week schedule, providing operational requirements permit and the provision of services are not adversely affected. The averaging period for a modified work week shall not exceed three (3) calendar weeks, and the work day shall not exceed ten (10) hours .

  • Modified Work Program The Employer shall provide modified work for any employee injured on the job as per the requirements of the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board. The employee must co-operate in developing and participating in, a modified work program suited to his capabilities, and with the approval of his physician and/or the WSIB. Both the Employer and the employee shall work together to return the employee to good health and his regular duties.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work Programs The Hospital and the Union recognize the purpose of modified work/return to work programs, is to provide fair and consistent practices for accommodating nurses who have been ill, injured or permanently disabled, to enable their early and safe return to work. The parties undertake to provide safe and meaningful employment for both permanently or temporarily disabled nurses based on the following principles:

  • Modified Work/Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty.

  • MODIFIED GROSS Tenant’s Initials Landlord’s Initials It is the intention of the Parties that this Lease shall be considered a “Modified Gross Lease”.   • Alternative Work Schedules Alternative work schedule means an approved schedule for an Employee that deviates from the work week described in Section 1, Section 2, or a schedule that deviates from a worksite’s normal schedule. Employees who work a “shift work schedule” as part of a rotating group of individuals who must continuously maintain a 24-hour operation or facility are not eligible for an alternative work schedule.

  • Modification of Work Schedule When a change of work schedule is requested by an employee and approved by the Agency, all forms of penalty pay and daily overtime compensation shall be waived by the employee for the requested change in schedule, but not for work over forty (40) hours per week.

  • Modified Duty When an employee cannot perform the full range of duties of the classification as a result of an illness or injury, such employee may be assigned modified duty if reasonable accommodation can be made. Modified duty may be assigned after medical release by a City-designated physician that indicates the employee's work restrictions.

  • Modified] A. For purposes of this Section, the term "employee" includes any persons working on duties which are the subject of this Contract, including, but not limited to, the Contractor's employees working on this Contract, any subcontractors working for the Contractor on this Contract, and any of these subcontractors' employees or subcontractors.
