Falsework. Based upon field observations, no problems with falsework are anticipated during the construction season. Due to the types of bridge alternatives recommended, the amount of falsework required for the construction will be a minimum. The existing truss demolition and new bridge construction will likely require gravel pads, falsework, and work trestles be constructed to dismantle and replace the existing bridge. The primary construction staging area to remove and replace the existing bridge will be along the south bank gravel bar. There will be access to this construction staging area from the downstream detour road and also from Xxxxxx Ridge Road along an upstream existing private access road.
