Local Street definition

Local Street means an open (traversable) right-of-way that is not identified in Schedule E of the most recent City of Winnipeg Streets By-law No. 1481/77 (i.e. not a Regional Street);
Local Street means a street that primarily provides access to abutting property. It typically has low traffic volumes and low speeds.

More Definitions of Local Street

Local Street means streets designed to provide access to individual parcels in the City. Local streets consist of two lanes with a typical right-of-way width of 50-70 feet and a pavement width of 40 feet. The term “local street” as used in this Policy is defined in the Encinitas General Plan, Circulation Element, page C-18.
