Employer’s site entry and security control, permits, and site regulations - The Contractor applies for temporary access permits (Contractor’s Permit) at the Security gate, prior to the Possession Date. - The Contractor personnel are required to be in possession of a Contractor’s Permit at all times. - All Contractor personnel are issued with a temporary access permit (Contractor’s Permit) which contains the following information: - Name - ID Number - Company - Validity date - All Contractors’ permits are returned back to Protective Services when the workers leave the site after completion of the works. - In order to assist Protective Services with the issuing of permits and the identification of personnel on site, the Contractor supplies a list of all personnel that he intends using on site, at least 24 hours prior to entry of the Security Area. - This list is delivered to Protective Services, or is faxed to (017) 615 2602 - The list, identified with the Contractor’s name, contains the following information: - Employee Name - Employee ID Number - Eskom Safety Co-ordinator signature - Service Manager signature - Copy of the first page of the ID book of every employee of the Contractor, photocopied to reduce the size to 65%. - To speed up the process of gaining access to the site, the Contractor compiles detailed lists of all tools and equipment to be taken on site before arriving at the Power Station Security gate. - A special Tool List form is available at Protective Services. - An authorised copy of this list is retained to be used again when the tools and equipment is removed from site after the completion of the works. - The Contractor's visitors and all personnel conform at all times to the security arrangements in force at the site. - Application forms for visitors are filled in by the Contractor's Site Manager and approved by the Employers Representative, one day before the visit and submitted to the Employer’s Protective Services office. - Visitors are not allowed on site if the necessary forms are not in the possession of security staff. - The Chief of Protective Services may, with valid cause, remove any of the Contractor's personnel from the site, either temporarily or permanently, without any prejudice. Employer’s site entry and security control, permits, and Site regulations It is required, for the proper co-ordination and execution of the Works that the Contractor (if required) has an office on site for the duration of the installation and optimisation. A site will be made available to the Contractor for his yard within the power station security area. The yard is a raw site and will be used by the Contractor for the establishment of his offices, workshop and stores. The Contractor’s yard is subject to periodic inspection by the Project Manager. The location of the nearest sewer manhole, power distribution point, portable water connection storm water channel and road access point is indicated by the Employer. The Contractor is responsible for connection to the closest point of supply.

  • Employer’s Business Employees required by the Employer to attend meetings or to attend hearings or to sit on a board established by the Employer, shall continue to receive their salary for the time periods as required. All provisions of this Collective Agreement such as overtime, call-back, etc., shall apply for the time periods as required above. The School's policies on behaviour and discipline current at the time and published on the School website apply to all pupils at the School and at all times when the Pupil is in or at school, (including when engaged in online or remote learning), representing the School or wearing School uniform, travelling to or from School, on School-organised trips or associated with the School at any time. The policies shall also apply at all times and places in circumstances where failing to apply this policy may affect the health, safety or wellbeing of a member of the School community or a member of the public, have repercussions for the orderly running of the School or bring the School into disrepute.

  • The Employer This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the Employer and its successors and assigns. The Bancorp and the Bank will each require any successor to it (whether direct or indirect, by stock or asset purchase, merger, consolidation or otherwise) or to all or substantially all of its business or assets to assume expressly and agree to perform this Agreement in the same manner and to the same extent it would be required to perform it if no such succession had taken place.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • EMPLOYER'S RIGHTS The Union acknowledges that the management and directing of employees in the bargaining unit is retained by the Employer, except as this Agreement otherwise specifies.

  • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. If the answer is not acceptable to the Employer, the Employer may, within ten (10) working days from the day the President gives her answer, give ten (10) working days notice to the President of the Local Union of its intention to refer the dispute to arbitration.
