Plant Safety Regulations. The Employer shall, on request from the Contractor, isolate required plant from all sources of danger as described in the Plant Safety Regulations.  The Employer shall, on request, make available a copy of the latest revision of the Plant Safety Regulations to the Contractor.
Plant Safety Regulations. The Employer, on request from the Contractor, isolates required plant from all sources of danger as described in the Plant Safety Regulations. The contractor shall ensure their employees are authorised in terms of plant safety regulations as Authorised supervisors and Responsible person’s. The Contractor supplies his own personal protective equipment necessary to carry out the works. The Contractor is also responsible for inspecting and maintaining such equipment as required in terms of the OHS Act and local procedures. The Employer, on request, makes available a copy of the latest revision of the Plant Safety Regulations available to the Contractor. The Contractor will comply with the Employer’s ‘Permit to Work’ system. The Contractor conforms to all rules and regulations applicable to plant safety and completes the Xxxxxxx'x Register prior to working on the plant. The Contractor declares any grinding and welding to be carried out on the workers register. At every permit change the Contractor withdraws himself/herself/his staff for that period of permit suspension/revocation and thereafter only proceeds with the works after signing onto the new permit. The Contractor ensures that he/she/all sub-Contractors/personnel/staff/his visitors are medically, physically and psychologically fit to enter the Xxxxx Power Station, and specifically any confined space. The Contractor is prohibited from entering Radiation Areas. The onus is on the Contractor to ensure that the correct confined space requirements and tests have been done or met by the Project Manager prior to entry into any confined space or hazardous plant areas. The Contractor ensures that all personnel are competent to carry out the works. Proof of competency for technical and safety aspects must be available as and when required on site. The Contractor shall comply with the health and safety requirements as per Eskom’s Rules and Regulations

Plant Safety Regulations. Contractor will review and comply with all normal plant safety regulations including, but not limited to, hazardous communication, process safety management (PSM), arc flash safety, confined space entry, and lockout/tag out policies. Hormel requires safety training of Contractor’s supervisors and employees before Work commences. Periodic refresher training may be required for projects of long duration. Any Contractor performing Work in or around a process covered by this Section 20 (for example, an ammonia refrigeration system) will be required to subscribe to Hormel’s third party contractor safety verification service, ISNetworld.

Except as set out on Schedule 4.7, the Borrower has no knowledge that it, its property, any Restricted Subsidiary, or any Restricted Subsidiary’s property will become subject to environmental laws or regulations during the term of this Agreement, compliance with which could require Capital Expenditures that could constitute a Material Adverse Occurrence.

  • Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act The following clauses apply to any Federal-aid construction contract in an amount in excess of $100,000 and subject to the overtime provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. These clauses shall be inserted in addition to the clauses required by 29 CFR 5.5(a) or 29 CFR 4.6. As used in this paragraph, the terms laborers and mechanics include watchmen and guards.

The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes. The Department expressly disclaims any liability that may result from implementation of the Health and Safety Plan by Xxxxxx. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

  • COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS The Contractor, it’s Subcontractors, and their respective employees, shall comply fully with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in the performance of the services, including but not limited to those promulgated by the City and by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In case of conflict, the most stringent safety requirement shall govern. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold the City harmless from and against all claims, demands, suits, actions, judgments, fines, penalties and liability of every kind arising from the breach of the Contractor’s obligations under this paragraph.
