Continuing Education Allowance. (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.
Continuing Education Allowance. 20.1 An employee employed in the classifications of Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse and Enrolled Nurses without Medication, except for Deputy Director of Nursing and a Director of Nursing, who holds a qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration, shall be paid a skills allowance, subject to the following conditions set out below;
Continuing Education Allowance a. An Employee who has completed a higher education qualification that is additional to the qualification relevant for registration or enrolment, will be paid the allowance in Items 14 to 17 of Schedule Four subject to the following: • Allowances will be payable as follows: Classification Qualification Allowance Registered Nurse Post-graduate certificate (not a hospital certificate) Item 14 Registered Nurse Post-graduate diploma or degree (not nursing undergraduate) Item 15 Registered Nurse Master's degree or doctorate Item 16 Enrolled Nurse Certificate IV qualification (unless this upgrades the qualification leading to enrolment) Item 17 • Indicative fields of post graduate training include but are not limited to aged care, continence, gerontology, dementia care, community psychiatric, mental health/psychiatric nurse practice, psycho-geriatric nursing/mental health for older persons, palliative care, wound management, infection control, advanced nursing practice and rehabilitation. • The allowance will only be paid if the Employer accepts that the qualification is directly relevant to the competency and skills used by the Employee in the duties of their position; • An Employee is only entitled to one allowance, being the allowance of the highest monetary value; • An Employee must provide evidence to the Employer that they hold that qualification; • The allowance is not included in the Employee's basic periodic rate of pay; • Part-Time and Casual Employees are entitled to the allowance on a pro-rata basis.
Continuing Education Allowance. 11.01 Where the Director requests a teacher to take a Continuing Education course and the teacher agrees the Board will reimburse the teacher for the cost of tuition and books upon successful completion of the course.
Continuing Education Allowance. (i) An employee employed in the classification of Registered Nurse (years 1 to 8), Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nursing Unit Manager, Nurse Manager Grade 1, Nurse Manager Grade 2 or Nurse Manager Grade 3 and above (who satisfies HammondCare that she/he is engaged in clinical work for more than 50% of her/his time) who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration, shall be paid a continuing education allowance, subject to the following conditions set out below:
Continuing Education Allowance a. A Nurse / Midwife Caregiver who has completed a higher education qualification that is additional to the qualification relevant for registration or enrolment, will be paid the allowance in Items 19 to 22 of Schedule Two subject to the following:
