Certificate IV definition

Certificate IV. A course that provides greater breadth and depth of skill and knowledge and is comparable to a two year part time post-Year 12 or post-trade certificate course.
Certificate IV means a Certificate IV in Disability Work obtained through a Registered Training Organisation.

  • Stage 2 Entry An apprentice enters Stage 2: • on attainment of 25% of the total competency points for the relevant AQF Certificate IV qualification specified in the training plan ; or • 12 months* after commencing the apprenticeship; whichever is earlier.

  • Certificate III / Certificate IV An Employee at this level is a holder of a Certificate III or Certificate IV relevant to the position.
