Certificate IV. A course that provides greater breadth and depth of skill and knowledge and is comparable to a two year part time post-Year 12 or post-trade certificate course.

Examples of Certificate IV in a sentence

  • An employee at this level must hold the following qualifications, which may be varied from time to time by the relevant National Vocational, Education and Training Body: • a Certificate III in Aged Care Work (CHC30102); and • a Certificate IV in Aged Care Work (CHC40102); and • medication module – “Provide Physical Assistance with Medication” (CHCCS303A); or Hold other appropriate qualifications acceptable to the employer.

  • Persons advancing through this level may typically perform duties which require further on-the-job training or knowledge and training equivalent to progress toward completion of a Certificate IV or Diploma.

  • The minimum salary on commencement for an employee for which a trade qualification of Certificate IV (Special Class/Higher), or equivalent, is essential is B3-R1-3.

  • The salary on completion of the trade's qualification of Certificate IV (Special Class) at a minimum is that of B3-R1-3, otherwise the salary continues at the rate for the classification of the work undertaken by the employee.

  • Stage 2 Entry An apprentice enters Stage 2: • on attainment of 25% of the total competency points for the relevant AQF Certificate IV qualification specified in the training plan ; or • 12 months* after commencing the apprenticeship; whichever is earlier.

  • The TAP which provides a one-off, non-indexed, means-tested payment to school-leavers from outer regional or remote areas who relocate more than 90 mins to undertake full-time, higher-level tertiary education (Certificate IV or above).
