Salary shall be defined as contract salary amount and shall not include any additional compensation for extra-curricular activities, extended employment or other extra compensation. A maximum of one hundred (100) days may be accumulated from unused sick leave.

In addition Hyperbaric Worker working at pressures over 30.00 PSI shall receive hourly rates as detailed in the table below for time spent in pressurized cham- bers. The highest pressure registered on the gauge for an accumulated time of more than fifteen (15) minutes during a shift shall be used in determining the applicable rate. Benefit rates shall be as required in the Principal Agreements. The maximum dues deduction shall be based on the Hyperbaric Worker Rate.
Basis of Pay. A. The hourly rates of pay set forth in Schedule A , attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement, shall be the minimum rates paid on or after the dates specified on that schedule. Wage scales shall be applied at all locations throughout the system, but in the event a tight labour market at a particular location makes the hiring of new employees difficult at that location the Company and the President of TC Local 1976 will meet and agree to a reasonable solution to the problem pertaining to that particular location during such period.
Basis of Pay. All miles run in excess of the miles encompassed in the basic day shall be paid for at a rate calculated by dividing the basic daily rate of pay in effect on May 31, 1986 by the number of miles encompassed in the basic day as of that time. Current actual miles run are as follows: Eastbound - Engineer 221 miles Westbound - Engineer 223 miles Pool freight engineers called for and departing the terminal in interdivisional service will be allowed the mileage terminal to terminal, except when the service is interrupted by an emergency such as flood, washout, derailment, etc., and pool freight engineer is returned to the originating terminal. In that event, the engineer will be placed first out over all others on the inactive board after eight hours rest, being given first consideration for deadhead to engineer's home terminal.
