Automobile Vandalism and Theft. 1. Employees shall be reimbursed for damage to the employee’s automobile because of vandalism or theft at the rate of up to $75.00 on the first claim and total payment on second or more, subject to the following conditions for the term of this Agreement:

Automobile Vandalism and Theft. Reimbursement to employees for validated damage to personal automobile property due to vandalism and/or theft shall be made under the following conditions:
Automobile Vandalism and Theft. Reimbursement to employees for validated damage to personal automobile property due to vandalism and/or theft shall be made under the following conditions: The employee is acting in the line of duty during their regular assignment when such loss occurs and the automobile is parked in the designated area, as assigned by the building administrator or supervisor or the employee is transporting students at the request of the District, and loss occurs as a result of an action taken by a student or students. The District will pay a maximum of $250 per incident or the cost of the repair; whichever is less, per fiscal year pending confirmation of repair. The items damaged or stolen are attachments to or are regular accessories of the automobile or personal equipment and/or materials used in District employment. The automobile was secured (windows closed, doors and trunk locked), except when the employee is transporting students. The damage was properly reported to the employee’s supervisor immediately after discovery of the loss. In the case of unintentional damage by a student, the report will be made to the building administrator or supervisor immediately after discovery of the loss. The Auto Vandalism Reimbursement Form will be obtained from the building principals or the immediate supervisor. The employee signs the claim form stating the damage and/or loss was to the best of their knowledge done while they were acting in the line of duty and their automobile was parked in the area designated as the parking area or that they were transporting a student. At least two (2) estimates from a reputable local business shall be attached. All reimbursement requests must be submitted within sixty (60) days of payment for the damage. Physical Assault or Injury Inflicted by a Student If an employee, acting in the line of duty, is assaulted as defined by the school code and District policy, the incident shall be immediately reported to the District representative. An employee who is injured or harmed by a student’s act while the employee is acting in the line of duty and the student is under the jurisdiction of the District, the employee will follow all guidelines and procedures for the reporting of a work-related injury, including completing the Employee Injury Report.   • Commercial Automobile Insurance If the Grantee’s duties include the use of a commercial vehicle, the Grantee shall maintain automobile liability, bodily injury, and property damage coverage. Insuring clauses for both bodily injury and property damage shall provide coverage on an occurrence basis. The Department, its employees, and officers shall be named as an additional insured on any automobile insurance policy.   • Business Automobile Insurance This insurance shall contain a combined single limit of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, and include coverage for, but not limited to the following:  Bodily injury and property damage  Any and all vehicles owned, used or hired The policy shall also contain the following endorsements or language, which shall be indicated on the certificate of insurance:  Waiver of subrogation in favor of and acceptable to Railway.  Additional insured endorsement in favor of and acceptable to Railway.  Separation of insureds.  The policy shall be primary and non-contributing with respect to any insurance carried by Railway.

  • Commercial Business Automobile Liability Insurance The Contractor shall provide Commercial Business Automobile Liability Insurance that shall include coverage for bodily injury and property damage arising from the operation of any owned, non-owned, or hired automobile. The Commercial Business Automobile Liability Insurance Policy shall provide not less than $1,000,000 Combined Single Limits for each accident. Additional Requirements for Commercial Business Automobile Liability Insurance are shown below at Paragraph 1.5.3.3.6.
