Association Activity and Leave Time. 40.1.1 The SLOCEA President, Immediate Past President, Vice President, or Secretary/Treasurer may utilize time during normal working hours for meeting and conferring with authorized County management personnel, subject to advance scheduling.

Association Activity and Leave Time. The SLOCEA President, Immediate Past President, Vice President, or Secretary/Treasurer may utilize time during normal working hours for meeting and conferring with authorized County management personnel, subject to advance scheduling. The President of SLOCEA may, after getting approval by the affected department head, use up to eighty (80) hours per year of paid leave time, to attend employee Association conferences, trainings, or to attend other SLOCEA business. This use of paid leave time shall be reimbursed to the County by SLOCEA for the salary and benefit costs associated with the paid leave. Such reimbursement shall be initiated by SLOCEA based on an invoice provided by the County. Job stewards shall be bargaining unit employees designated by SLOCEA. SLOCEA shall notify the County Human Resources Director in writing of the names of SLOCEA’s job stewards up to a combined total of thirty (30) job stewards for the Public Services, Supervisory and Clerical Bargaining Units. Changes to the listing of job stewards shall be provided to the County as they occur. Job stewards shall have the right to represent bargaining unit employees as provided in Civil Service Rule 4 to the conclusion of level 2 of the grievance procedure; shall have the right to distribute SLOCEA materials in the work place; and shall have the right to provide SLOCEA orientation to new employees. Job stewards shall be granted reasonable release time to represent employees in rights disputes subject to prior approval from affected department head or designee. Distribution of material and orientation of new employees shall be done on non-work time; furthermore, such activity shall not disrupt the workplace. To enhance harmonious labor relations, expeditious and effective representation, the County and SLOCEA agree that SLOCEA stewards shall be entitled to an aggregate of four (4) hours of Leave Without Pay (LWOP) of County release time per month for training and other related representational activities. Employees may request utilization of individual paid leave balances, except sick leave, but approval is at the discretion of the department head. Effective with ratification of this Agreement, stewards as a group shall be eligible for forty (40) hours of paid County release time for xxxxxxx training each fiscal year. Association Activity and Leave Time. 6.1.1 The County agrees that SLOCEA may designate regular Stewards to represent bargaining unit employees in the actual processing of grievances. Such Stewards shall be bargaining unit employees designated by SLOCEA and limited to no more than fourteen (14) in order to provide service at the various geographical work locations.

  • Association Release Time Subd. 1. The Employer and the Association agree that the release of an ASF Member from normal job duties to perform other service shall be governed as follows:

The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. A maximum of four additional days may be used for Association leave and the substitute’s salary will be reimbursed to the Board by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.

  • EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE 233. Pursuant to the Charter, the City contributes whatever rate is applicable per month directly into the City Health Service System for each employee who is a member of the Health Service System. Subsequent City contributions will be set pursuant to the Charter.

  • Employment of foreign nationals The Contractor acknowledges, agrees and undertakes that employment of foreign personnel by the Contractor and/or its Sub-contractors and their sub- contractors shall be subject to grant of requisite regulatory permits and approvals including employment/ residential visas and work permits, if any required, and the obligation to apply for and obtain the same shall always rest with the Contractor. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, refusal of or inability to obtain any such permits and approvals by the Contractor or any of its Sub- contractors or their sub-contractors shall not constitute a Force Majeure Event, and shall not in any manner excuse the Contractor from the performance and discharge it of its obligations and liabilities under this Agreement, and the Contractor’s liabilities hereunder shall remain unaffected by such failure, refusal or inability.

  • Career Ladder Effective July 1, 2014, TALC and the District agreed to the 11 implementation of a Career Ladder for the advancement of instructional staff on the 12 Performance Salary Schedule. Elements of the Career Ladder are outlined and posted on 13 the District website and include detailed descriptions of Career Ladder levels and the 14 requirements for movement. All instructional staff hired on or after January 8, 2018 will 15 be placed on the Apprentice level of the Career Ladder.

  • Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise (“IVBE”) participation plan. The following IVBE subcontractors will be participating in this Contract: VBE PHONE COMPANY NAME SCOPE OF PRODUCTS and/or SERVICES UTILIZATION DATE PERCENT _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ A copy of each subcontractor agreement shall be submitted to IDOA within thirty (30) days of the request. Failure to provide any subcontractor agreement may also be considered a material breach of this Contract. The Contractor must obtain approval from IDOA before changing the IVBE participation plan submitted in connection with this Contract. The Contractor shall report payments made to IVBE subcontractors under this Contract on a monthly basis. Monthly reports shall be made using the online audit tool, commonly referred to as “Pay Audit.” IVBE subcontractor payments shall also be reported to IDOA as reasonably requested and in a format to be determined by IDOA.
