AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS. 5.1 Any member of the bargaining unit who is a member of the Pittsburg Education Association, CTA/NEA, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and general assessment in the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct one tenth of such dues from the regular salary check of the member of the bargaining unit each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for members of the bargaining unit who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately pro-rated to complete payments by the end of the school year.

AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS. 8.1 During the life of this Agreement, the Board agrees to deduct from the salaries the teachers’ dues or service fees of the Xxxxxx Education Association for members of the bargaining unit who individually and voluntarily give the Board written authorization to do so on a form provided by the Board. Such written authorization shall continue unless terminated in writing. The Association and its members individually and severally agree to indemnify and save the Xxxxxx Schools, Board, individual members of the Board and the Board’s employees and agents, harmless against any and all claims, suits, or other forms of liability including attorney fees, arising out of the deduction of money for Association dues or service fees from any employee’s pay. The Association assumes full responsibility for the disposition of the monies so deducted once they have been turned over to the Treasurer or other authorized person of the Association.

  • PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES 4.1: On receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization from an employee, on a form approved by the City’s Director, General Accounting Division, the City will deduct each pay period from the employee’s pay, the amount specified by said employee, but not less than regular dues.

  • Deductions and Withholding The Executive agrees that the Company or its subsidiaries or affiliates, as applicable, shall withhold from any and all compensation paid to and required to be paid to the Executive pursuant to this Agreement, all Federal, state, local and/or other taxes which the Company determines are required to be withheld in accordance with applicable statutes or regulations from time to time in effect and all amounts required to be deducted in respect of the Executive's coverage under applicable employee benefit plans. For purposes of this Agreement and calculations hereunder, all such deductions and withholdings shall be deemed to have been paid to and received by the Executive.
