Works Completion Date(s) definition

Works Completion Date(s) means the date of the completion of the Works as set out in the last Works Completion Certificate or, where the Works are divided into Sections or where condition 6.6 (Early possession) applies, the date or dates of completion of the relevant Section or Completed Part as set out in the relevant Works Completion Certificates;

Interpretation The headings to these Conditions of Contract are included for ease of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation or construction of these Conditions of Contract. References to condition numbers are references to the appropriate condition in these Conditions of Contract and references to paragraph numbers are references to the appropriate paragraph in the appropriate Schedule to these Conditions of Contract except where stated otherwise. Except in relation to the Date or Dates for Completion, any period of time in these Conditions of Contract, within which the Authority or the Contractor, are required to take any action or make any decision, determination or calculation, may be extended by agreement, notwithstanding that the period of time has expired. Any reference to any statute or any section of any statute includes any statutory extension, amendment, modification, consolidation or re-enactment and any statutory instrument order or regulation made under any statute for the time being in force. Words importing one gender include all other genders and words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa. Any periods of time referred to in these Conditions of Contract and expressed in days shall refer to calendar days unless where this clearly states working days. Where any act is required to be done within a specified period after or from a specified date:- the period begins immediately after that date; and where the specified period would include Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which under the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971 is a bank holiday in England and Wales or, as the case may be, in Scotland or in Northern Ireland, that day shall be excluded. Related to Works Completion Date(s)

  • Project Completion Date means the date on which the Completion Certificate is issued;

  • Target Completion Date has the meaning given such term in Section 3.3(b).

  • Final Completion Date means the date on which Final Completion occurs.

  • Construction Completion Date means the date by which the overall development of the Project is completed in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and when the Construction Completion Certificate is issued by the Independent Engineer as per Article 14.1.

  • project completion period means the period of sixty (60) months commencing from and expiring on for the construction and obtaining of Temporary Occupation Permit or Permits for the whole of the Development as provided in clause 3.3;

Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Outside Completion Date shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.3(d).

  • Date of Completion with respect to a Project shall mean: (i) the date upon which such Project and all components thereof have been acquired or constructed and are capable of performing the functions for which they were intended, as evidenced by an Engineers’ Certificate filed with the Trustee and the Issuer; or (ii) the date on which the Issuer determines, upon the recommendation of or in consultation with the Consulting Engineer, that it cannot complete such Project in a sound and economical manner within a reasonable period of time as evidenced by an Engineers’ Certificate filed with the Trustee and the Issuer; provided that in each case such certificate of the Consulting Engineer shall set forth the amount of all Costs of such Project which have theretofore been incurred, but which on the Date of Completion is or will be unpaid or unreimbursed.

  • Project Completion Schedule means the progressive Project Milestones set forth in Schedule-J for completion of the Project Highway on or before the Scheduled Completion Date;

  • Completion Rate means the percentage of an apprenticeship cohort who receives a certificate of apprenticeship completion within 1 year of the projected completion date. An apprenticeship cohort is the group of individual apprentices registered to a specific program during a 1 year time frame, except that a cohort does not include the apprentices whose apprenticeship agreement has been cancelled during the probationary period or who have transferred.

  • Construction Period means the period commencing from the Appointed Date and ending on the date of the Completion Certificate;

  • Time of Completion means the time for completing the execution of and passing the Tests on Completion of the Works of any section or part thereof as stated in the Contract (or as extended under Clause...) calculated from the Commencement Date

  • Virtual Completion means the premise is in the opinion of the Employer fit for occupation.

  • Construction Commencement Date means the date set out in the Addendum, if applicable, by which you must commence construction of the Hotel. For the Hotel to be considered under construction, youmust have begun to pour concrete foundations for the Hotel or otherwise satisfied any site-specific criteria for “under construction” set out in the Addendum.

  • Delivery Date(s) means the date or dates requested for delivery of Products as set forth in any Order.

  • Milestone Dates means the dates for completion of specified Project activities as contained in the Project Schedule.

  • Commissioning Period means, with respect to each Subproject, the period commencing upon the first delivery of Feed Gas to the Subproject in accordance with Sections 4.8 and 11.1 of the Agreement continuing through achievement of RFSU, commissioning, Start Up, Performance Testing and achievement of Substantial Completion for such Subproject.

  • Initial compliance period means the first full three-year compliance period which begins at least 18 months after promulgation, except for the following contaminants: Dichloromethane; 1,2,4-Trichlorobenzene; 1,1,2- Trichloroethane; Benzo[a]pyrene; Dalapon; Di(2-ethylhexyl adipate; Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate; Dinoseb; Diquat; Endothall; Endrin; Glyphosate; Hexachlorobenzene; Hexachlorocyclopentadiene; Oxamyl (Vydate); Picloram; Simazine; 2,3,7,8-TCDD (Dioxin); Antimony; Beryllium; Cyanide; Nickel; and Thallium, initial compliance period means the first full three-year compliance period after promulgation for systems with 150 or more service connections (January 1993 -December 1995) and first full three-year compliance period after the effective date of regulation (January 1996 - December 1998) for systems having fewer than 150 service connections.
