More Definitions of Variable Investment Options

Variable Investment Options means separate fictional unitized funds in which units are deemed to increase or decrease in value daily in accordance with the daily increases or decreases in one of the following indices: (1) Lehman Treasury Bellwether - 3 month, (2) Lehman Brothers Aggregate Bond Index and (3) Standard & Poor's 500 Total Return.

Variable Investment Options. During the Accumulation Period we offer a number of Sub-accounts as variable investment options. These are all Sub-accounts of the Variable Separate Account(s) shown in the Schedule.
Variable Investment Options that are classified as "Type A" Variable Investment Options or "Type B" Variable Investment Options or any other type that may be specified on Page 3A of the Contract. We will value the assets of each Variable Investment Option on each business day. A business day is any day on which the New York Stock Exchange is open for trading and generally ends at 4:00 p.m.Eastern Time or such other time as we state in writing to you.
