Use of Facilities and Equipment. The Association will be allowed to use school facilities for meetings upon request to and approval of the Superintendent. The Association will be allowed to use school equipment, including typewriters, computers, mimeograph machines, other duplicating equipment, calculating machines, and all types of audio-visual equipment when such equipment is not otherwise in use. The Association shall pay the cost of all materials and supplies incidental to such use and shall be responsible for proper operation of all such equipment.

The Union shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings and school equipment, including, but not limited to, typewriters, computers, printers, duplicating equipment, FAX machines, calculating machines, and all types of audio-visual equipment when such equipment is not otherwise in use. The Union may utilize College meeting room facilities to meet with employees covered under this Agreement during non-working hours, provided the Union shall promptly reimburse the College the facilities usage charge as prescribed in the College Facilities Usage Manual and for any additional expense or any damage occasioned by such use. Such use shall not interfere with any activity or function of the College. The Union will advise the College designee of the day and time that these meetings will take place.

The Association and its representatives shall have the right to use the school buildings and equipment, at no cost to the Association at all reasonable hours, for Association business with advance approval of the principal. Any equipment lost, stolen, or damaged while in use by the Association shall be repaired or replaced at Association expense.

The Union and its representatives shall have the right to conduct Union business on the employer's property at reasonable times provided the employee's work is not disrupted, and notice is given to the building administration's office upon arrival, and provided that when special custodial service is required, the Board may make a reasonable charge therefore. The Union and its representatives may also use the employer's equipment and premises in accordance with Board policy without rental charge at times which do not interfere with or interrupt normal operations or the employee's duty time.

The Association and its representatives shall have the right to use District facilities and equipment, subject to District policies and procedures governing use of facilities and equipment, for meeting at reasonable non-duty times when such facilities are not otherwise in use. The Association shall be responsible for proper use of all facilities and equipment, including leaving them in the same condition as they were prior to the Association's use. The Association shall pay for the reasonable cost of all materials and supplies incident to such use and shall be liable for damages caused to District facilities and equipment by individuals using it for or in connection with Association business.

The Forum shall have the right to use College facilities and equipment for Forum activities provided the use of such facilities and equipment is scheduled through the appropriate College office. The Forum shall pay any overtime costs incurred as a result of the use of College facilities, and shall pay for the cost of all materials and supplies incidental to the use of College equipment. College non-faculty personnel shall not be utilized for business during their working hours.
