Union Board Relations. A. The provisions of this shall apply only to the Colleges/Universities that have a separate Adjunct Faculty Local.

This Agreement shall not be construed to prevent any official of the Colleges from meeting with any employee or employee organization for the purpose of hearing the views and proposals of its members, except that, as to matters presented by an employee or employee organizations which are covered by this Agreement, no changes shall be made in the provisions of this Agreement without prior negotiation and agreement with the Union.
Union Board Relations. 1. District 201 recognizes authorized representatives of the Union consisting of the president and vice-presidents, or alternates and others appointed by the president, as parties to this agreement. No substantive changes will be made by either party in their final proposals in the interim period between the final negotiations meetings as defined by both parties and the ratification meeting. No substantive changes will be made by either party during the ratifying meeting itself. An arrangement for the signing of the Agreement by both parties shall be agreed upon in writing at the final negotiations session. Contract ratification is accomplished by the affixing of signatures of the president of the Board and the president of the Union.

The Board and the Union shall not interfere with, intimidate, restrain, coerce, or discriminate against the Adjuncts or District 525 or the Board because of membership or non- membership in the Union.

Recognition and Scope The Board of Education of Community High School District 128 (“Board”) recognizes the Libertyville High School / Xxxxxx Hills High School Federation of Teachers, Local 504, IFT-AFT/AFL-CIO (“Union”) as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment for full-time and part-time teachers of District 128.

Union Board Relations. A. 1. The UNION shall be supplied a copy of the tentative agenda of all College/University Boards of Trustees meetings, one week prior to the date for such meetings. Upon request of the UNION, a responsible administrative officer of the College/University shall be available to discuss the agenda items at a mutually agreeable time prior to such meets. Where the UNION makes specific request for written materials referred to in a tentative agenda item and where such material is not confidential or privileged and can be supplied in advance of the scheduled meeting within the policies of a Board of Trustees. Such material will be provided.
