LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS – NAC 623A.070 Practice of landscape architecture: Interpretation of statutory definition.
Any individual, organization, institution, or business with an affiliation to the Principles and Practice of landscape architecture may apply for recognition as an Affiliate of the Society.
Any individual may be nominated for consideration by the Board of the designation “BCSLA [Honorary Member]”, and such honor if awarded by the Board will include the waiver of fees and such other privileges as the Board sees fit, in recognition of outstanding community activity related to the Principles or Practice of landscape architecture.
Practice of landscape architecture does not include the design of structures or facilities with separate and self-contained purposes for habitation or industry, or the design of streets and highways, utilities, storm and sanitary sewers, and water and sewage treatment facilities, such as are exclusive to the practice of engineering, architecture, or land surveying; and(6) Professional landscape architect or licensee means person who is licensed by the board to practice landscape architecture.
