AND DEVELOPMENT. The Borrower shall cause Punjab to ensure women’s participation in the Project implementation in accordance with the gender strategy as agreed between the Borrower and the Bank. The Borrower shall ensure that Punjab causes LGRD to ensure that (i) women councilors of TMAs and UCs shall be trained for effective gender-based planning and monitoring of Project activities; (ii) women councilors are included in PIRC of each TMA; and (iii) at each PU, one female community development and social mobilization staff will be hired to facilitate women’s participation in the planning of subprojects’ activities.
AND DEVELOPMENT. The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of not less than per hour from the wages of all employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked and prior to the 15th day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the "Humanity Fund and to forward such payment to United Steelworkers of America Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the Local Union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such has been made. It is understood and agreed that participation by any employee in the bargaining unit in the program or deductions set forth above may be discontinued by any employee in the bargaining unit after the receipt by the Company and the local union that employee's written statement of desire to discontinue such deductions from pay which may be received during the four weeks ratification of this Agreement or at any time thereafter.

Employees, as a condition of employment, shall undertake, if asked to do so, training courses or refresher courses at the expense of the Society, to participate in weekend workshops, and attend other conferences and meetings as may be deemed desirable. Encouragement shall be given to employees to develop their professional growth and leadership abilities. The Society may contribute whole or in part towards an employee’s expenses at such approved seminars or courses, which are related to the employee’s duties, depending on funds available. Training Development courses, conferences or conventions when an employee is required to attend Training and Development course, conference or convention at the expense of the Society, the Society reserves the right to specify the and the route of travel. The Society reserves the right to limit the amount of such expenditures. Where, however, the specified means of travel falls within Clause the provisions of that Article shall apply.
