Construction Details. Project details will be included as necessary. Details may include pavement section details, drainage details, utility relocation details, new utility construction details, etc. for the project design. However, details may also include curb return conforms or grading details. In addition, specific design criteria will be provided to accommodate and create safe and ADA compliant pedestrian facilities. This includes specific curb ramp and across the pavement crossings, etc. Pavement will be designed to the same structure as existing intersection pavements or based on a resulting Geotechnical report R-values and Testing and Traffic Index as provided by the City. Up to two (2) detail sheets shall be included for proposal estimate.

The work required to perform the above services shall be done in a safe and workmanlike manner and shall conform to the pertinent specifications, as well as Federal, local and State Laws, regulations and codes. Documents submitted shall be in a standard format as specified elsewhere in the contract documents. 699-4 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT AND BASIS OF PAYMENT The price bid for De-Mobilization-Project Closeout shall be a Fixed Price Lump Sum (FPLS) of the amount as shown against this item in the Bid Schedule. Although the fixed price lump sum shown in the bid schedule for this item shall be considered the price bid, actual payment shall be based on the cost of completed portions of work under this item as indicated in the Contractor’s bid breakdown. In no event shall payment for work completed under this pay item exceed the fixed price lump sum bid price for such work. The Engineer may release the Contractor from providing any portion of the work required by this pay item and shall reduce the pay item by the appropriate amount as provided in the approved bid breakdown. Notwithstanding any other Item in the contract, this demobilization pay item shall not be considered to pay for work to be paid under other pay items included elsewhere in this contract, and shall be considered in addition to any such other pay items. Payment under this item shall be made to the Contractor with the last payment for this contract. The work required to provide the above equipment and service for mobilization shall be done in a safe and workmanlike manner and shall conform with any pertinent local, State, or Federal Law, regulation or code, and be in accordance with the General Provisions and Special Conditions. Good housekeeping consistent with safety shall be maintained. 698-4 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT. Payment for mobilization will be made on a lump sum basis. 698-5 BASIS OF PAYMENT. The amount bid shall be payable to the Contractor whenever he shall have completed ten percent (10%) of the contract work. For the purposes of this item, 10% of the work shall be considered completed when the total of payments earned, not including the amount bid for this work, shall exceed 10% of the total amount of the Contractor’s bid for this contract. 1 Mobilization Lump Sum 699-1 DESCRIPTION Under this work item, the Contractor shall complete, as directed by the Engineer, all uncompleted work which may include: Removing any remaining equipment, temporary structures, and utilities, excluding those ordered by the Engineer to remain and restoring the remaining area(s). Delivering all outstanding final approved shop and as-built drawings as required by this contract. Providing the Engineer with all relevant information for the preparation of any drawings and data to be prepared by the Engineer as required by this contract Obtaining and delivering manufacturers’ manuals, guaranties, and warranties of all equipment and materials and all other outstanding submittals required by this contract. Providing copies of notifications to all permitting agencies involved in the project that the work has been completed, and if applicable, their Certificates of Acceptance. All work included under this item shall be approved by the Engineer. 699-2 MATERIALS As specified in the Contract.

The Consultant will prepare construction details and notes for unique pavement sections if a standard detail does not apply. The Consultant will develop a standard set of notes and details and maintenance and protection of traffic notes for each location. If standard NYSDOT or MPOT details are used for short term lane closures the details and WZTC notes will be included in the pavement restoration plans. If it is determined that the work can’t be performed under temporary short term lane closures, then the Consultant shall prepare a WZTC plan. The WZTC plan will be submitted to MCDOT for review. The Consultant will revise the plan per review comments. The City will present to the Traffic Control Board (TCB) and obtain approval as necessary.
