Minority Participation. It is the policy of the State of Georgia that minority business enterprises shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the State purchasing and contracting process. Therefore, the State of Georgia encourages all minority business enterprises to compete for, win, and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, the State encourages all companies to sub-contract portions of any State contract to minority business enterprises. Design Professionals who utilize qualified minority subcontractors may qualify for a Georgia state income tax deduction for qualified payments made to minority subcontractors. See O.C.G.A. §48-7-38. Minority Participation. Certain State of Florida subdivisions, as well as other Customers, may choose to include participation measures at the time that they conduct Statement of Work RFQs. Therefore, Statements of Work awarded hereunder may include provisions for participation by certified minority and women- owned Contractors or subcontractors, pursuant to processes established by such Customers with respect to such measures.
Minority Participation. The Construction Manager shall diligently attempt to award at least fifteen percent (15 %) of his material contracts and subcontracts to firms having a letter of certification as a minority business.
Minority Participation. The Institution or Facility will take affirmative steps to ensure that small businesses, minority-owned businesses and women’s business enterprises are used whenever possible. Affirmative steps will include the following:
Minority Participation. Participation by minority/women owned and controlled businesses is encouraged. The College has established a minority outreach program, which has averaged 19 percent of contracts being awarded to small disadvantaged certified minority/women business enterprises (W/MBE) Consultants, suppliers and sub-consultants. In support of the Minority Outreach Monitoring Program, the awarded Consultant(s) shall provide the College Minority/Woman Owned Business usage quarterly reports to the attention of Purchasing. This report shall include at a minimum the following: All disadvantaged/minority owned business usage by name of sub-Consultant, type of minority/woman owned and dollar amount of the award.
Minority Participation. The SERVICE PROVIDER agrees to comply with the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise participation requirements under 2 CFR 200.321. Contractors who are awarded contracts with the City are required to take all affirmative steps necessary to subcontract with Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs).
Minority Participation. The Construction Manager shall diligently attempt to award some portion of its material contracts and subcontracts to qualified minority-owned businesses. The Florida Office of Supplier Diversity, Department of Management Services will assist in furnishing names of certified minority-owned businesses.

The CONSULTANT agrees to subcontract the percent as shown on Appendix G - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation to one or more Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. A "Disadvantaged Business Enterprise" is a small business concern, as defined pursuant to Section 3 of the Small Business Act and implementing regulations, which is owned and controlled by one or more minorities or women.
Minority Participation. The BCA shall attempt to award subcontracts to firms having certification, or in the process of acquiring, as a minority business firm. Minority Participation. As said provisions may from time to time be amended, they shall also apply to this contract. The Contractor will be required to maintain on the project not less than a 7.4% ratio MBE participation and 4.0% WBE participation.
