Minor Repairs definition

Minor Repairs shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 4.10.6;
Minor Repairs means the renewal or replacement of any existing part or parts of a building or structure, in keeping with its existing type of construction, arrangement of parts and occupancy for maintenance purposes, when the structural parts of the building or structure are not affected.
Minor Repairs means any work to a facility that is not subject to the bidding requirements of Section 10-20.21 of the School Code, with the following exceptions:  cutting away of any wall, partition, or portion thereof;  cutting or removal of a structural beam or load-bearing support;  removal of or change in a required means of egress;  rearrangement of parts affecting exit requirements;  addition to, alteration of, replacement, or relocation of any standpipe, drain leader, or gas, soil, waste, water supply, sewer drainage, vent or similar piping;  electrical wiring; or  mechanical; or  other required building system.”

  • Employees who perform work classified as Minor Repairs, and routine service and/or maintenance work.

  • The Joint Adaptations Policy should allow discretion, where capital funding allows, to provide Minor Repairs Grants for small works of repair, for example, to replace or repair rotted woodwork, minor electrical works, rainwater goods or other repairs that are not classed as adaptations and may include promoting warm homes and energy efficiency measures.

  • Tenant shall make no alterations, installations, additions or improvements (excluding minor alterations, installations, additions or improvements, including but not limited to paneling, partitions and the installation of Tenant's fixtures hereinafter referred to as "Minor Repairs") in or to the Premises without Landlord's prior written consent which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.

  • The Landlord may require the Tenant to execute and complete the Minor Repairs within a period of fifteen (15) Business Days from said request.


More Definitions of Minor Repairs

Minor Repairs means all minor running repairs to the Plant including electrical wiring, electrical switches, lights, oil leaks; daily servicing; vee belts, hydraulic hoses and the air-condition system
Minor Repairs means activities that restore sections of the dam, spillway, outlet works, and ancillary structures which exhibit minor deterioration to their intended state and that do not require the alteration (permanent or temporary) of any facilities that would effect performance, operation or safety of the dam as determined by the Department.
Minor Repairs means the replacement of any part of a building for which a permit issued by the department of buildings is not required by law, where the purpose and effect of such work or replacement is to correct any deterioration or decay of or damage to such building or any part thereof and to restore same, as nearly as may be practicable, to its condition prior to the occurrence of such deterioration, decay or damage.
Minor Repairs is defined as repairs not eligible for Federal reimbursement.
Minor Repairs means low-cost repairs to existing equipment such that the scope of work does not require permits from the Departments of Licenses and Inspections.
Minor Repairs means any repair other than a Major Repair, such as, including, but not limited to: (i) replacement and repair of broken glass and mirrors; (ii) replacement and repair of window and door closure systems, hinges, anchors, locks and plumbing (iii) repairs of internal paint and new paint in the event that the quality of the previous one has been substantially spoilt, (iv) ordinary cleaning of windows (both inside and outside), (v) repairs of any items and/or devices installed under the Work Modifications or Additional Requirements, (vi) repair of any element and/or device installed and/or left in the Building by the Tenant or at the request of the Tenant.
Minor Repairs. The words "minor repairs" shall mean only the repairing of faucets, bibs or cocks, and repairs to water pipes and shall not, under any circumstances, include installation of new work or repairs to waste and vent lines. (1969 code, § 9-120, as amended by Ord. #4-11, March 2011)
