WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL STANDARDS. All workmanship shall meet the standards specified herein as well as in accordance with accepted standards of the industry, equipment manufacturers, applicable local, state, and Federal regulations, applicable building and safety codes, construction specifications, and operation and maintenance policies. Completed work will be free of defects that would prevent it from functioning as originally intended and designed. XYZ Company will perform corrective, repair, and replacement work, including operational checks and job site cleanup. Replacement parts will match existing equipment in dimension, finish, color, and design. Prior approval from [CUSTOMER NAME] will be received if XYZ Company is unable to adhere to this requirement. During performance and upon completion of work, debris will not be permitted to accumulate in the work area or spread unnecessarily into adjacent areas. XYZ Company will clean up or remove all debris, excess material, and parts at the end of each workday and/or at the completion of the work. XYZ Company will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to protect the general public, equipment, furnishings, buildings, and grounds from damage caused by their maintenance work. Any such damage will be repaired, replaced, or restored to its original condition at no additional cost to [CUSTOMER NAME]. Any work that alters the original appearance of equipment covered under this agreement must be approved in advance by [CUSTOMER NAME].

WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL STANDARDS. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining all facilities, systems, and equipment, identified in this technical sub-annex, to a standard that prevents deterioration beyond that which results from normal wear and tear and corrects deficiencies in a timely manner to assure full life expectancy of the facilities, systems, and equipment. Best commercial practices shall be applied in the performance of work. All work shall be completed per approved and accepted industry and equipment manufacturers’ standards and shall comply with building and safety codes, applicable activity, local, and Provincial regulations, and other technical requirements identified within this technical sub-annex. Workmanship for maintenance and repair shall include all work necessary to complete facility and system restoration, including touch-up painting and operational checks. Upon completion of work, the Contractor shall ensure all facilities, systems, and equipment are free of missing components or defects which would affect the safety, 1502000 – Facility Investment Spec Item Title Description appearance, or habitability of the facilities and structures or would prevent any electrical, mechanical, plumbing or structural system from functioning in accordance with design intent. Repairs shall be made in accordance with the manufacturersspecifications and guidelines, and standard building codes. The quality of repairs shall meet the applicable standards and shall prevent any malfunction reoccurrences caused by poor workmanship or other contractor inadequacies. The quality of the repaired areas shall be fully compatible with adjacent surfaces or equipment. Except where otherwise specified, replacements shall match existing in dimensions, finish, color, design, and functionality and shall have an appearance similar to the original finished appearance with only minor unobjectionable deterioration resulting from normal use. The Contractor shall not allow debris to spread unnecessarily into adjacent areas nor accumulate in the work area. All such debris, excess material, and parts shall be cleaned up and removed at the completion of the job and at the end of each day work is in progress. Upon completion of work, any stains and other unsightly marks shall be removed.

  • WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS 1.10.1 Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, materials, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the service in a manner consistent with the Project Manager’s plan and schedule. Contractor’s equipment shall be of the size and type appropriate for completing the various types of work described in this RFP. Contractor shall ensure that any equipment considered by the Project Manager to be improper or inadequate for this purpose is removed from the site and replaced with satisfactory equipment.

  • MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP Unless otherwise specified, all materials and equipment incorporated in the work under the Contract shall be new. All workmanship shall be first class and by persons qualified in the respective trades.

  • Quality of Materials and Workmanship Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new, and both workmanship and materials shall be of good quality. The Contractor shall, if required, furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials and work. The burden of proof is on the Contractor.

  • Applicable Technical Standards The Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards that apply to the Customer Facility and the Interconnection Facilities are identified in Schedule D to this ISA.

  • Environmental Standards If the contract amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $100,000, the Contractor shall comply with all applicable standards, orders, or requirements issued under section 306 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. § 7606), section 508 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. § 1368), Executive Order 11738, and Environmental Protection Agency regulations (2 C.F.R. Part 1532), which prohibit the use under non-exempt Federal contracts of facilities included on the EPA List of Violating Facilities. The Contractor shall report any violations of this paragraph to the State of Indiana and to the United States Environmental Protection Agency Assistant Administrator for Enforcement.

  • Workmanship All work under this Agreement shall be performed in a safe manner to a professional standard. The goal of performance under this Agreement is the suppression of wildland fire and other emergency incident responses. The Incident Commander may release from an incident assignment any Contractor employee deemed incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable including violation of Harassment Free Workplace Policy. It will be left to the discretion of the Incident Commander to demobilize an entire resource or to allow replacement of the noncompliant personnel. Documentation of the rationale for release will be provided to the CO subsequent to the action. Accordingly, the Contracting Officer may require, in writing, the Contractor remove from use under this Agreement, any employee found incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable including violation of Harassment Free Workplace Policy. The Contracting Officer may require other proof of mitigation. Misconduct may result in cancellation of this Agreement. If an employee or crew is terminated, quits, or otherwise is released from the incident for any reason, the Contractor is responsible for returning the employee(s) to the point of hire with a departure time from the Incident Command Post (ICP) no later than 12 hours or time specified by a government official following such decision. The Contractor may, at their discretion, provide such transportation, or request the Incident Management Team (IMT) to arrange for the transportation with all transportation costs deducted from Contractor's payment. If the Contractor does not act in a timely manner (i.e., Contractor's employee(s) not departing from the ICP for return to point of hire within the specified time period), the IMT has authority to transport said employee or arrange for employee's transportation and to deduct all such transportation costs from Contractor's payment.

  • Technical Standards The Generation System shall be installed and operated by the Interconnection Customer consistent with the requirements of this Agreement; the Technical Requirements; the applicable requirements located in the National Electrical Code (NEC); the applicable standards published by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE); and local building and other applicable ordinances in effect at the time of the installation of the Generation System.

  • ETHICAL STANDARDS a. Distributor and each of its sub-distributors will comply with the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and without derogating from the generality of the foregoing, will not have its directors, officers or employees, directly or indirectly, offer, promise or pay any bribes or other improper payments for the purposes of promoting and/or selling Products to any individual, corporation, government official or agency or other entity. No gift, benefit or contribution in any way related to MEC or the promotion and/or sale of Products will be made to political or public officials or candidates for public office or to political organizations, regardless of whether such contributions are permitted by local laws.

  • LABOR AND MATERIALS 3.4.1 Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall provide and pay for labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and machinery, water, heat, utilities, transportation, and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution and completion of the Work, whether temporary or permanent and whether or not incorporated or to be incorporated in the Work.

  • Safety Standards Performance of the Contract for all commodities or contractual services must comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable State of Florida and federal requirements.
