WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 1.10.1 Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, materials, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the service in a manner consistent with the Project Manager’s plan and schedule. Contractor’s equipment shall be of the size and type appropriate for completing the various types of work described in this RFP. Contractor shall ensure that any equipment considered by the Project Manager to be improper or inadequate for this purpose is removed from the site and replaced with satisfactory equipment.

WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 9.1 All hydrants installed must conform to BSEN 750/1984 and display the BS standard xxxx xxxx. Any variation from this standard will be subject to an agreement between the Water Company and the Fire Authority. All equipment provided by the Water Company must comply with the appropriate European Standards and satisfy the regulations listed under Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1991.

The Owner shall use only competent contractors to perform the Work. The Owner shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, water, tools, equipment, light, power, transportation, and all other facilities necessary for the execution and completion of the Work. All workmanship, equipment, materials, and articles incorporated in the Work shall be new, shall be the best available grade, and shall be of a quality equal to, or better than that specified.

All materials, equipment and other items incorporated into the Work shall be of good quality and, unless specified otherwise, shall be new. The Contractor shall, upon request, provide satisfactory evidence as to the type and quality of materials used in connection with the Work. If the Contractor determines that the materials delivered to the Project Site do not represent a good quality product, it shall advise the District Representative, and shall remedy the deficient quality as quickly as possible with the shortest delay, if any, to the Work on the Project, unless otherwise instructed by the District Representative.

WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 3.3.1 Unless otherwise specifically provided in the Technical Documentation, all workmanship, equipment, materials, and articles incorporated in the Vessel shall be new and of good marine quality and in conformance with good commercial shipbuilding standards as well as the standards of Regulatory Bodies.
WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 12.12.1 The Service Provider is required to provide the Services in accordance with the highest professional standards and to carry out the maintenance work as defined in this Agreement. Such work shall be executed to the satisfaction of SARS. Any work not executed in accordance with the requirements for preventative maintenance or break and fix repairs as defined in the RFP (Annexure A), the Service Provider shall rectify or replace as instructed by SARS and at its own expense.

All Work shall be of good quality, free from faults and defects and in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. If required by the Architect or the District, the Contractor shall furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials and equipment incorporated into the Work. Any Work, or portion thereof not conforming to these requirements, including substitutions or alternatives not properly approved in accordance with the Contract Documents may be deemed defective. Where there is an approved substitution of, or alternative to, material or equipment specified in the Contract Documents, the Contractor warrants to the District that such installation, construction, material, or equipment will equally perform the function and have the quality of the originally specified material or equipment. The Contractor expressly warrants the merchantability, the fitness for use, and quality of all substitute or alternative items in addition to any warranty given by the manufacturer or supplier of such item.
