Workers' Compensation Insurance Coverage. Our Gang shall provide worker’s compensation insurance coverage for our Contract Workers but the client retains the right to direct and control the work of said employees. The parties agree to immediately notify each other of any injury or accidents or any claim for workers’ compensation benefits involving the Contract Workers assigned to the client’s facility.

The WSIB may deduct the amount owed by the Contractor to the accident fund from the amount payable to the Contractor by the WSIB under this Contract and transmit the deducted amount to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I), Division of Insurance Services. This provision does not waive any of L&I’s rights to collect from the Contractor.
