Rest Periods. All employees shall have two (2), fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work period in excess of six (6) hours, one (1) rest period to be granted before and one (1) after the meal period. Employees working a shift of three and one-half (3½) hours, but not more than six (6) hours, shall receive one (1) rest period during such a shift. Rest periods shall not begin until one (1) hour after the commencement of work or not later than one (1) hour before either the meal period or the end of the shift. Rest periods shall be taken without loss of pay to the employees.
Rest Periods. 4.01 Employees shall be entitled, subject to the exigencies of patient care, to relief periods during the shift on the basis of 15 minutes for each 3.75 hours worked.
Rest Periods. Employees working a full shift will receive one rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each half of the shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four (4) hours will receive one fifteen (15) minute rest period.

In any eight (8) hour day, one (1) rest period shall be before and one (1) after the meal period. Employees working in excess of six (6) hours on any shift will be entitled to take two (2) rest periods on each shift. Cashiers working more than a four (4) hour shift but not more than a six (6) hour shift shall have the right to a fifteen (15) minute unpaid rest period, either with or separate from the existing fifteen (15) minute rest period. The employees will notify store management of their choice to ensure efficient scheduling. Pharmacists shall remain on the premises during such rest periods but shall not be required to perform any duties except in cases of emergency. Rest periods shall be taken without loss in pay to the employee. Notwithstanding the conditions set out in sub-sections (j) and (k) of this section, pharmacists shall be paid double time when required to work during a rest period or meal period when no relief pharmacist is available.
Rest Periods. (A) A supervisor shall not unreasonably deny an employee a 15-minute rest period during any four contiguous hours of work. It is recognized that staffing and work priorities may prevent such a rest period during a given workday. Additionally, many positions have a post of duty assignment that requires coverage for a full shift and does not permit the employee to leave his post. In those cases, the employee may be able to “rest” while the employee physically remains in the geographic location of his duty post. The employee is to remain responsive to calls during a rest period.

Employees who are scheduled for a shift of four (4) hours and who are scheduled to receive an unpaid meal period shall not be entitled to a rest period. Employees who work beyond their regular quitting time into the next shift shall receive a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period before they start work on the next shift whenever it is anticipated that such work shall require approximately two (2) hours. The Appointing Authority retains the right to schedule employee rest periods to fulfill the operational needs of the various work units. Rest periods may not be accumulated nor be taken at the beginning or end of the employee's shift. With the supervisor's approval, rest periods may be used to extend the meal period.
Rest Periods. Section 1. An employee shall be permitted a fifteen-minute paid rest period (uninterrupted) during each one-half work shift provided the employee works a minimum of three hours in that one-half work shift. The rest period shall be scheduled and taken whenever possible at the middle of such one-half shift. The Employer, however, shall be able to vary the scheduling of such period when, in its opinion, the demands of work require such variance.
Rest Periods. 17.01 There shall be two (2) rest periods (or coffee breaks) with pay of ten (10) minutes' duration each, daily, one (1) in the forenoon and one (1) in the afternoon.
