Meal Period. A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.
Meal Period. Allowable meal period may not be counted as work time for any purpose. The performer’s first meal period must commence within six (6) hours following the time of his/her first call for the day; succeeding meal periods should commence within six (6) hours after the end of the preceding meal period. An allowable meal period may not less than one-half hour and not more than one (1) hour in length. Producer will immediately be liable for $25.00 in liquidated damages due each affected performer for each half-hour of delay or fraction thereof.
Meal Period. Employees shall receive a meal period which shall commence no less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the employee's regular shift or when he/she is called in to work on his/her regular day off. The meal period shall be no less than one-half (½) hour nor more than one (1) hour in duration and shall be without compensation. Should an employee be required to work in excess of five (5) continuous hours from the commencement of his/her regular shift without being provided a meal period, the employee shall be compensated two (2) times the employee's straight-time hourly rate of pay for the time worked during his/her normal meal period and be afforded a meal period at the first available opportunity during working hours without compensation.
Meal Period. (a) A person working a daily shift of five (5), but less than seven (7) hours shall have one (1) uninterrupted meal period of thirty (30) minutes without pay.
Meal Period. A. Employees shall not be required to work more than five (5) hours from the start of the shift without at least a one-half (½) hour break for lunch. This lunch period shall not begin earlier than three and one-half (3½) hours after the start of the shift. If they are required to work past five (5) hours, one-half (½) hour at the applicable overtime rate shall be added to the hours worked and they must then be allowed time to eat their lunch. If not allowed to eat their lunch, employees will be paid and additional one-half (½) hour of overtime.
Meal Period. A) Two (2) meal periods of a continuous one-half (.5) hour each will be provided during each employee’s shift of ten (10) hours or more.
Meal Period. Non-exempt staff who work during their regularly scheduled meal period will, at the option of the University, be paid in accordance with the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Exempt staff shall be granted a meal period, during which time they shall remain available to respond to calls from the employer, unless the employee arranges for qualified coverage in his or her absence.

The meal period shall be provided at intervals that result in no employee working longer than five (5) consecutive hours without a meal break.
