Family Liaison ($32,000) We will continue to employ and utilize a Family Liaison to support our families while students are at home due to COVID-19 and ensure that their learning is supported and barriers to learning are eliminated (# 8 “Developing and implementing procedures and systems to improve the preparedness and response efforts of local educational agencies). Roaming Subs ($64,000) Due to COVID-19, we are experiencing a high need for substitute teachers to cover classes when educators are out sick. Beehive Academy will utilize the funds to be able to sustain its operations affected by the pandemic. The school leadership will assess its operations and identify the operational needs to better respond to the pandemic created problems. Beehive Academy will reassess its technology infrastructure and identify the ongoing technology infrastructure and devices and upgrade them to meet the needs of the students' learning needs. Necessary products, devices, softwares, instructional materials and other needed tools will be provided by using the funds. Beehive Academy will engage its community members in addressing the learning gap and improving students' learning activities. The funds will be utilized in such activities. Some of these activities will be for students and parents such as home visits, etc. Beehive Academy will work with its stakeholders to identify the students’ social, emotional and behavioral and mental health support. The needed services and support will be provided by the use of this fund. Beehive Academy will keep monitoring its sanitary measures and provide the necessary tools, equipment and materials as per the needs. Beehive Academy will provide the professional development to its staff members in addressing the learning gap, appropriate instructional strategies to address the student's needs and other pandemic related matters.
