Extended Year. 11.8.1 Regular Shasta County Office of Education employees may use Bereavement Leave, Sick Leave and Personal Necessity Leave during the extended session ONLY AFTER they have worked at least one full day of the extended year session. A "full-day" includes any days and hours assigned prior to the start of the extended session.

Extended Year. ‌ All teacher assistants and Special Needs Assistants may have their year extended up to two (2) additional days, as determined by the Superintendent.
Extended Year. The Employer shall advertise proposed extended year unit positions no later than one week prior to the end of the school year. The Employer will give first consideration to current unit members before hiring from the outside.
Extended Year. In the event the school calendar is extended which would create the need for bargaining unit member beyond the normal working year, such work shall be offered to current bargaining unit members before any additional persons are hired.
