Ethnic Minorities. The parties have agreed to work, both centrally and locally, to arrange conditions so that ethnic minority groups will to a greater extent elect to take jobs in industry. For this reason the local parties should therefore discuss enterprise-related problems connected with recruiting minority groups, such as practical arrangements and general attitudes.
Ethnic Minorities. 44. Ethnic Minorities. The Recipient shall ensure that Subprojects do not adversely affect ethnic minorities. In particular, the Project shall be carried out in accordance with the ethnic minorities development framework, as agreed between the Recipient and ADB. The Recipient shall ensure that no Subprojects with significant adverse impacts on ethnic minorities are financed under the Project. For Subprojects in which ethnic minorities are present and affected, an ethnic minorities development plan shall be prepared in accordance with the ethnic minorities development framework. The Recipient shall ensure that, measures to improve the welfare of ethnic minorities are built into the overall Subproject design where the indigenous peoples population exceeds 60% and no negative impact on such ethnic minorities is expected.
Ethnic Minorities. The Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center offers harm reduction programming to at-risk adolescent American Indian girls, recognizing the American Indian population particular vulnerability to sex trafficking due to their stigmatized role and minority status within the U.S. (▇▇▇▇▇▇, 2012). Ethnic Minorities. CMG shall through the IAs and PIUs ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower relating to ethnic minorities, (b) the IP Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in the EMDPs, and any corrective or preventative actions (i) set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report, or (ii) subsequently agreed between ADB and CMG.
Ethnic Minorities. The Borrower shall ensure that the PPMUs undertake social analysis for all the Subprojects. Based on the social analysis, the Borrower shall ensure that an EMDP shall be prepared and implemented for Project Provinces where ethnic minorities form more than 50% of the beneficiaries. The Borrower, MARD and PPCs shall ensure that (a) full participation of ethnic minorities is promoted in Project activities, including, among other things, the capacity development and training activities; (b) the needs of the ethnic and religious minorities are appropriately met, especially in the areas with a high proportion of ethnic minority people; (c) the WSCCs have reasonable representation from the ethnic minority groups; and (d) all activities are consistent with ADB’s Policy on Indigenous Peoples.
Ethnic Minorities. The EA shall ensure that the Project does not have any impact on ethnic minorities, all within the meaning of the SPS. In the event the Project does have any such impact, the EA shall take all steps required to ensure that the Project complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and with the SPS.
Ethnic Minorities. The Borrower shall cause the PPC, Phu Tho and the PPC, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ to ensure that the Project does not have any ethnic minorities' impact, all within the meaning of the SPS. In the event the Project does have any such impact, PPC, Phu Tho and PPC, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ shall take all steps required to ensure that the Project complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and with the SPS.
Ethnic Minorities. The Borrower shall ensure that the Project does not have any adverse impact on the livelihood of ethnic minorities living in the project area. In the event of any unforeseen impact on the livelihood of ethnic minorities, (i) the Borrower shall inform ADB of such situation and prepare an ethnic minority development plan in accordance with Borrower's relevant laws and regulations, and ADB’s Policy on Indigenous Peoples (1998); and (ii) the Borrower shall not give a notice to proceed to a civil works contractor until ADB has reviewed and approved such plan.
