PENSION AND WELFARE. The Theatre shall make pension and welfare contributions to the SDC-League Pension Fund and SDC-League Health Fund as specified in the SDC-ANTC Agreement.

PENSION AND WELFARE. In addition to all other payments, the Employer agrees to contribute on behalf of any Employee who is covered under this Agreement, an amount equal to twenty-one percent (21%) of the gross compensation to provide Pension and Welfare Benefits. Pension and Welfare shall be apportioned and paid by separate checks as follows: Pension contributions shall be payable to the United Scenic Artists Local 829 Pension Fund in the amount of nine percent (9%). Welfare contributions shall be payable to the IATSE National Health and Welfare Fund in the amount of twelve percent (12%). All checks must be submitted to United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, IATSE Central Region Office for transmittal to the Funds.

In addition to all other payments, as of July 1, 2017, the Theatre agrees to contribute an amount equal to 9.25% of gross compensation, payable to United Scenic Artists Pension Fund on behalf of any Designer who is covered by this Agreement, increasing by .25% in each subsequent year of this Agreement. The Theatre agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of The Agreement and Declaration of Trust for the United Scenic Artists Local 829 Pension Fund as related to the contributions due as set forth hereinabove. PENSION AND WELFARE. Producer agrees to make the pension, health and welfare payments that are payable by reason of the engage- ment of Artist hereunder under the applicable collective bargaining agree- ment of the union or guild having jurisdiction.

On the date of the coming into force of the collective agreement, there will be an adjustment between the sums already paid by the M.E.A. for pension and welfare and the financial obligations of the M.E.A. provided for in Article 23.01 a).
