PAYMENT FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS. The duly elected or appointed Union representatives on the Training Committees will be reimbursed by the Employer for all straight-time earnings necessarily lost by reason of attendance at joint Training Committee meetings. Time spent at such meetings will not be considered as time worked for the purpose of qualifying for overtime.

PAYMENT FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS. A member of a Committee shall be deemed to be at work while performing Committee prescribed herein or by the Act, and shall be paid by the Employer at the regular or premium rate as may be proper. MEETING AGENDA The will communicate and prepare an agenda and forward a copy of the agenda to all Committee members at least one week in advance of the meeting. Members who wish to have items added to the agenda shall give the Chairperson reasonable notice. The Committees may accept any item as proper for discussion and resolution pertaining to health and safety. The Committees may not make applications to amend, alter, subtract from or add to, any terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. All items raised from the agenda in meetings will be dealt with on the basis of consensus rather than by voting. Formal motions will not be used. GENERAL All items whether or not resolved will be reported in the minutes. Unresolved items will be minuted and placed on the agenda for the next meeting. Worker members of the Joint Committee shall be provided a minimum of one hour preparation time prior to each regularly scheduled meeting of the Joint Committee. All employees shall discuss their problems with their immediate Supervisor before bringing it to the attention of the Committees. Committee members will thoroughly investigate all complaints to get all the facts and will exchange these facts when searching €or a resolution to the problem. All problem resolutions will be reported in the minutes. All medical or trade secret information will be kept confidential by all Committee members. Any amendments, deletions or additions to these guidelines must be mutually agreed to by the Union and the Employer. Adequate training will be provided to all Joint Committee members as deemed necessary by the Company who shall bear the cost.
