Group Grievance. Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

Group Grievance. If, in the judgment of the Association, a grievance affects a group or class of teachers, the Association may submit such grievance in writing to the Agency Head or designee directly and the processing of such grievance shall be commenced at Section C.2 (Step 2). The Association may process such a grievance through all levels of the grievance procedure even though the aggrieved person does not wish to do so. If a grievance arises from action or inaction on the part of a member of the administration at a level above the immediate supervisor, the aggrieved will submit such grievance in writing to the Agency Head or designee directly and the processing of such grievance will be commenced at Section C.2 (Step 2). The Association may process such a grievance through all levels of the grievance procedure even though the aggrieved person does not wish to do so.
Group Grievance. Subject to clause 17.5 and section 215 of the PSLRA, the Association may present to the Council a group grievance on behalf of employees in the bargaining unit who feel aggrieved by the interpretation or application, common in respect of those employees, of a provision of the collective agreement or an arbitral award.

If, in the course of the grievance procedure dealing with a particular issue, subsequent individual or group grievances are filed that complain about the same matter, it is agreed that such subsequent grievances will whenever possible be consolidated with the original grievance and dealt with as one group grievance at the request of either the Company or the Union.
Group Grievance. A Group grievance is defined as any dispute between Hydro One and the Society arising from the application, administration or alleged violation of the Collective Agreement, or unreasonable exercise of Management discretion in the administration and application of the collective agreement relating to the same dispute by more than one employee. A Group grievance shall be filed at Step 2. Grouped complaints will normally be considered at the Complaint Step if the employees report to a single supervisor.
