Outside Employment While on Leave. During a leave of absence, outside employment for an employer other than the Company is not permitted without prior written approval from the Company and notice to the Union. An employee who engages in such unapproved employment will be deemed to have resigned his or her employment with the Company and his or her name will be stricken from the seniority roster.

Outside Employment While on Leave. An employee who engages in outside employment during said leave of absence without prior approval of the City Manager shall be subject to termination. Any employee who falsified a reason for the request for said leave of absence or any extension of such leave of absence may be terminated for falsifying such request.
Outside Employment While on Leave. An employee who is on such leave or extended medical leave who is found to be actively employed by another employer while on such leave shall be deemed to have resigned his/her position with Fond du Lac County unless such other employment clearly does not conflict with the reason for the sick leave or extended medical leave. No leaves of absence shall be granted for the purpose of seeking or trying other employment.

Outside Employment While on Leave. A nurse on leave of absence shall not continue or accept outside employment, including self-employment, without first timely notifying and receiving written approval from the Director of Human Resources. Unauthorized outside employment without the written approval of the Hospital may result in termination of the nurse’s employment.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.
