Re-employment definition

Re-employment means taking a position with the City following a break in continuous service. “Resignation” - means the voluntary termination of employment of an employee, or unauthorized leave for five (5) consecutive workdays.
Re-employment means, generally, the Appointment, within one-year of separation, of a former employee who has served at least twelve (12) months in a “Regular Position” to the same Classification as previously held. [See also Sections 4.4.1(c),
