OTHER TYPES OF LEAVE. COURT LEAVE
21.01 Leave of absence with pay shall be given to every employee, other than an employee on leave of absence without pay or under suspension, who is required:
(a) to serve on a jury and the jury selection process; or
(b) by subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceeding held:
(i) in or under the authority of a court of justice or before a grand jury;
(ii) before a court, judge, justice, magistrate, or coroner;
(iii) before the Senate or House of Commons of Canada, or a committee of the Senate or House of Commons, other than in the performance of the duties of his/her position;
(iv) before the Executive Council or Legislative Assembly, or any committee thereof that is authorized by law to compel the attendance of witnesses before it;
(v) before an arbitrator or umpire or a person or body of persons authorized by law to make an inquiry and to compel the attendance of witnesses before it.
(c) by law to attend a proceeding under the Young Offenders Act (Canada) concerning a dependent.
OTHER TYPES OF LEAVE. Regulation FPU-6.007 Other Types of Leave adopted by the Board of Trustees on February 5, 2014 governs Administrative Leave (including Jury Duty, Non-Expert Witnesses in a Hearing or Trial, Athletic Competition, Official Closing of the University, Florida Disaster Volunteers, Volunteer Emergency Response Team Members, Voting in Public Elections, University Investigations, Disciplinary Notice, Best Interest of the University, and Presidential Discretion); Bereavement Leave; Compulsory Leave;
OTHER TYPES OF LEAVE. Leave of absence with pay shall be granted to every employee, other than an employee on leave of absence without pay, laid off or on suspension, who is required:
(a) to serve on a jury, including a jury selection process; or
(b) by subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceedings held:
(i) in or under the authority of a court of justice or before a grand jury;
(ii) before a court, judge, justice, magistrate, or coroner;
(iii) before the Senate or House of Commons of Canada, or a committee or commission of the Senate or House of Commons, otherwise than in the performance of the duties of their position;
(iv) before the Legislative Assembly, or any committee or commission thereof that is authorized by law to compel the attendance of witnesses before it;
(v) before an arbitrator or umpire or a person or body of persons authorized by law to make an inquiry and to compel the attendance of witnesses before it;
(c) Notwithstanding any provisions of this article, the Employer may deduct from the regular pay of the employee any remuneration received by the employee as a result of serving on a jury or as a witness, other than remuneration received as an allowance or reimbursement for expenses incurred for such duty.

21.01 Subject to (c) below, leave of absence with pay shall be given to every employee, other than an employee on leave of absence without pay or under suspension, who is required:
(a) to serve on a jury or jury selection;
(b) by subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceeding held:
(i) in or under the authority of a court or justice or before a grand jury;
(ii) before a court, judge, justice, magistrate or coroner;
(iii) before the Senate or House of Commons of Canada or a committee of the Senate or House of Commons, otherwise than in the performance of the duties of his position;
(iv) before a legislative council, legislative assembly or house of assembly or any committee thereof that is authorized by law to compel the attendance of witnesses before it;
(v) before an Arbitrator or umpire or a person or body of persons authorized by law to make an inquiry and to compel the attendance of witnesses before it.
(c) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Article, there shall be deducted from the regular pay of the employee any remuneration received by him as a result of serving on a jury or as a witness, other than remuneration received as an allowance or reimbursement for expenses incurred in such duty.
21.02 An employee shall be granted injury-on-duty leave with pay to a maximum of either special leave credits or sick credits he has accumulated, but not both, where it is determined by a Workers Compensation Board that he is unable to perform his duties because of:
(1) (a) personal injury accidentally received in the performance of his duties and not caused by the employee's wilful misconduct; or

15.01 An Employee, other than an Employee on Leave of Absence without pay or under suspension, will be granted leave with pay:
(1) to serve on a jury; or
(2) to answer a subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceeding authorized by law to compel the attendance of witnesses.
15.02 (1) An Employee, other than an Employee on Leave of Absence without pay or under suspension, will be granted leave with pay:
(a) to serve as a Justice of the Peace;
(b) to serve as a Coroner; or
(c) to participate in a public inquiry.
OTHER TYPES OF LEAVE. 32.01 All other types of leave shall be taken in hours on the basis of the employee’s regularly scheduled hours of work on the day(s) the leave is taken.
OTHER TYPES OF LEAVE. 21.01 Leave of absence without loss of regular pay shall be given to every employee, other than employees on leave of absence without pay, laid off, or on suspension, who is required to serve on a jury and the jury selection process, or to attend as a witness in any judicial, quasi-judicial or legislative proceeding by reason of subpoena compelling attendance. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Article, there may be deducted from the regular pay of the employee any remuneration received by him as a result of serving on a jury or as a witness, other than reimbursement for expenses incurred in such duty.
21.02 An employee shall be granted injury-on-duty leave with pay for ninety (90) calendar days or the length of the injury-on-duty leave, whichever is the lesser, where compensation is payable to the employee under the Workers’ Compensation Act (Northwest Territories), if the employee agrees to pay the Employer any Workers’ Compensation benefits received by him.

(a) to serve on a jury and the jury selection process; or
(b) to answer a subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceeding authorized by law to compel the attendance of witnesses.
