Length of Leave. Birth Mother A pregnant employee shall be entitled to up to seventeen (17) consecutive weeks of maternity leave and up to thirty-five (35) consecutive weeks of parental leave, all without pay. The parental leave must immediately follow the maternity leave. In the event the birth mother dies or is totally disabled, an employee who is the father of the child shall be entitled to both maternity and parental leave without pay.
Length of Leave. Paid parental leaves of absence of up to six (6) consecutive weeks shall be granted to eligible state employees who request such leave following the birth or adoption of a child.
Length of Leave. The family medical leave entitlement period will be a rolling twelve (12) month period measured forward from the date an employee begins family medical leave. Each time an employee takes family medical leave during the twelve (12) month period, the leave will be subtracted from the twelve (12) weeks of available leave.
Length of Leave. A sabbatical leave may be granted for a period of not more than one (1) year.
Length of Leave. Upon written request, leave may be granted for any personal reason for a maximum duration of six months. Leave granted for family care is not in addition to the twelve (12) weeks provided by the Family Medical Leave Act. Leave of absence without pay may be granted for a maximum period of two years for purposes of education or training which would be of benefit to the Highway Patrol. Renewal or extension beyond the two (2) year period shall not be allowed.
Length of Leave. The length of a job sharing leave shall be for one (1) school year and may be renewed by the Board if a request to renew is made by the participants. Participants in job sharing positions shall be considered on a leave of absence for that portion of the school work hours and/or days that they are not working.
Length of Leave. Paid leave shall be granted from the first day of absence resulting from assault and/or battery, but paid leave shall not exceed one (1) calendar year.
