MATERIALS, METHODS & EQUIPMENT. Nothing in this Agreement shall be read to limit or restrict the Contractors' choice of materials, techniques, methods, technology or design, or, regardless of source or location, upon the use and installation of equipment, machinery, package units, pre-cast, pre-fabricated, pre-finished, or pre- assembled materials or products, tools, or other labor-saving devices. Subject to the Design Build Contract Documents, Contractors may, without restriction, install or use materials, supplies or equipment regardless of their source. The on-site installation or application of such items shall be performed by the craft having jurisdiction over such work; provided, however, it is recognized that other personnel having special qualifications may participate, in a supervisory capacity, in the installation, check off or testing of specialized or unusual equipment or facilities as designated by the Contractor. There shall be no restrictions under this Agreement as to work which is performed off-site for the Project Work.

The Contractor will make reasonable efforts to provide that any equipment or materials under the jurisdiction of the Plumbing and Steamfitting trade shall be accepted and installed by Plumbers, Steamfitters and Apprentices, provided such material or equipment conforms to the National Form of Agreement of the United Association.

There shall be no restrictions as to work which is not performed at the Project site, with the exception of pre-tied or welded reinforcing steel.

Contractors may, without restriction, install or use materials, supplies or equipment regardless of their source, with the exception of pre-tied wire or welded reinforcing steel. The on-site installation or application of such items shall be performed by the craft having jurisdiction over such work pursuant to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement; provided, however, it is recognized that other personnel having special qualifications may participate, in a supervisory capacity, in the installation, check-off or testing of specialized or unusual equipment or facilities as designated by the Contractor.
