Attending Court. 20.1 An employee who loses time by being required, in a case in which the Company is involved, to attend court or coroner's inquest, or to appear as a witness, shall be paid for time lost. If no time is lost, such employee shall be paid for actual time held, with a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one-half (1 1/2) times his/her hourly rate.

Attending Court. An employee who is required by writ or subpoena in court as a witness in a work related matter, will be paid his/her regular rate of pay up to crew value for time required to be in court provided the employee presents the Employer with a copy of the process papers which required his/her presence in court, and pays over to the Employer the amount received by serving as such witness.

Attending Court. C.S.S.A.'s or RTC’s attending court or investigation at the request of the proper officer of the Railway will have their actual reasonable expenses paid by the Railway in addition to their schedule wages. Any fees accruing to the employee will be assigned to the Railway.
