Leave for Executive Board Members: Full Time Position. When an employee is elected or appointed to a full-time position with OPSEU, the Employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay and continuation of benefit coverage paid by OPSEU and without loss of seniority for the duration of the leave. At the end of the assignment, the employee shall, upon four (4) weeks notice be returned to the position held immediately prior to the commencement of the leave or to a comparable position with no decrease in pay should the original position be eliminated. Leave of absence with no loss of pay and with no loss of credits shall be granted to an employee elected as an Executive Board Member of the Union. The Union will reimburse the Employer for the salary and benefits paid to the employee.

Leave for Executive Board Members: Full Time Position. When an employee is elected or appointed to a Full-Time position with OPSEU/SEFPO, the Employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay, for up to one (1) year, and the continuation of benefit coverage and wages to be reimbursed by OPSEU/XXXXX and without loss of seniority for the durations of such leave. If the leave ends early, the Employee shall provide the Employer at least four (4) weeks’ written notice of her intention to return to work. Such leave may be extended upon written request provided at least four (4) weeks prior to the end of the leave.
Leave for Executive Board Members: Full Time Position. When an Employee is elected or appointed to a full-time position with OPSEU, the Employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay and with continuation of health and welfare benefit coverage paid by OPSEU for the duration of such leave. The Union shall give thirty (30) days’ notice in writing to the Employer. At the end of the assignment, the Employee shall, with thirty (30) days written notice to the Employer be returned to the position held immediately prior to the commencement of the leave or to a comparable position with no decrease in pay should the original position be eliminated. For the duration of the leave, the employee’s seniority and vacation entitlement shall be retained but not accrued.

  • Full-Time Employment A full-time Employee is one who is engaged to work 38 hours per week or an average of 38 hours per week pursuant to clause 26(a) of the Agreement.

  • Full-Time Employees Only Employees will be allowed to participate in health and welfare benefits plans during the year of the leave, but the full cost of such plans will be borne by the employees. Contributions to the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan will be in accordance with the Plan. Notwithstanding the above, employees will not be eligible to participate in the disability income plan during the year of the leave.
