The "Advanced Practice" clause defines the rights and responsibilities of healthcare professionals who are authorized to perform advanced clinical tasks beyond the scope of standard practice. Typically, this clause outlines the qualifications required, the types of procedures or treatments permitted, and any necessary supervision or collaboration with physicians. Advanced Practice. Nurse (APN) – A Provider of medical and preventive services, including Certified Nurse Midwives, Certified Family Nurse Practitioners and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, who is licensed as an APN, holds a valid license in Illinois, is legally authorized under statute or rule to provide services, is a Provider, and has a contract with the Contractor.
Advanced Practice. The workstream will address the following and a written report produced for the parties’ consideration no later than December 2014. The parties shall meet to discuss the report and progress matters on February 10, 2015 (unless otherwise agreed between the parties).
Advanced Practice. A Nurse 1 (Enrolled Nurse) with an Advanced Certificate or a Diploma qualification and a minimum of six years full time equivalent post enrolment experience, including three years full time equivalent experience in the relevant clinical area and endorsed to administer medications by the Board. The Nurse 1 (Advanced Practice) will also need to demonstrate advanced practice within each of the following domains:
