Boston, MA 02129 Bids must be delivered and date-stamped at the above office by 1:00 PM on April 26, 2013. Late Bid responses will not be accepted. Bids which are either faxed or electronically submitted will not be accepted as a bid delivery. All bids must be in English and submitted in the same format as listed in the RFR using 12 font print. Information submitted beyond the scope required in the RFR may hinder vendor evaluation. One bidder will be awarded the food service contract. Two (2) copies of the bid must be submitted. Bids must be sealed in an envelope or package and marked as follows: MANUAL FOOD SERVICE ---BHCC-2013. All bids must include a Non-Collusion form, Tax Compliance Certificate, Bid Pricing Sheet, Contractor Authorized Signature Verification Form, and Reference Form and assigned questions as provided in this RFR on the COMM-PASS Terms & Conditions Tab. Also to be included: Sample Menu or ‘Market Basket’ of food offerings for a thirty (30) day period, Staffing Pattern, and Hours of Operation throughout the College year, and a Specific Proposal relative to monthly commissions. Bid Signature: A bid must be signed as follows: 1) if the bidder is an individual, by her/him personally; 2) if the bidder is a partnership, by the name of the partnership, followed by the signature of each general partner; and 3) if the bidder is a corporation, by the authorized officer, whose signature must be attested to by the clerk/secretary of the corporation, and with the corporate seal affixed. Bonding Requirements The CONCESSIONAIRE will be required to provide a $5,000.00 Performance Bond as a surety of performance. The purpose of the bond is to cover the College’s costs in the event of nonperformance or of delinquency in the payment for replacement equipment, materials or supplies referred to herein. The Concessionaire shall furnish a Performance Bond to the College within fourteen (14) calendar days of the signing of an Agreement. The Performance Bond will guarantee the compliance with all terms and conditions of the Agreement and shall be valid during the entire contract period and during extensions thereof.
